It's just a repeat of the rumour that was flying around on Friday. It's bollocks. Seeing as the panel haven't even convened to decide the punishment yet, and won't do until tomorrow, you can safely ignore anyone who claims to be ITK about this.
-
Looks more like Fernando Alonso.
-
Who you gonna call!
-
You've won the internet today with this. Great work Mods - any chance you can replace the @Miltonaggro post with this one?
-
We wouldn't realistically be able to have our appeal heard until the full written report has been made available - after the final. So on that basis, the likelihood of Boro replacing us in the final on Saturday, with the looming possibility that our expulsion could be overturned later on appeal, would appear to be extremely slim to none.
-
On a similar note - people who say "One hundred percent!" when what they actually just mean is "yes".
-
Correct. The Northern Echo reporter is just making shit up. They are not acting on behalf of Boro at all. That's just how this hack wants to frame it with their readers.
-
I'm sure we did wear it a few times. Perhaps at Palace, where we obviously couldn't wear red or blue?
-
Probably because it's camouflaged 😉
-
Shhhh. Don't tell the Boro fans. They will convince themselves that us taking the tickets off sale is ABSOLUTE PROOF that we're being kicked out.
-
We already did that in 2022
-
As long as it's not Mike Dean. Then we'd be truly fucked.
-
Yeah I wouldn't read anything into it. We have to continue to prepare for the match as usual until such time as we're told otherwise.
-
Yeah they're about 40 years behind us I think.
-
Well if the Boro fans are right about a 12:30 announcement today, it looks like I might not have been too far off!
-
And leave a review highlighting the great view.
-
The relevance is to the question of whether or not they have a case to pursue us for compensation if/when we are found guilty.
-
OK, on the balance of probabilities, would Boro have likely won the tie if Spygate hadn't happened? Given the relative form of both teams in the run-in, the fact that we secured the home second leg advantage for the semi final, and that we were strong favourites with the bookies, you would have to say no.

You're absolutely right. If an organisation becomes aware of a potentially damaging data breach then they are obliged to report it to the ICO. And in a twist of delicious irony here, they must do it within 72 hours. And it doesn't have to be the subject of the personal data that complains if they don't. Any concerned member of the public can raise the complaint.
-
I'm hoping earlier than that so my guess of 112 pages on this thread doesn't end up wildly out. We'll probably have surpassed that by 9am tomorrow though at this rate.
-
And not only would we challenge it, other clubs could start digging up any evidence they can of instances of other clubs doing it (assuming it really is as widespread as has been reported over the last week), if they know that the penalty for it is likely to be so high. I'm not sure the EFL would have much appetite for that.

I reckon you might be onto something. We've all been wondering why the club would do this and if it was actually just a setup. Maybe it was all staged by Steve and mods to generate site traffic and raise advertising revenue 🤨
