Interesting to see BBD playing right wing for Sheff Utd this evening (before being subbed). Is that a regular thing since he's been there?
-
No. We might beat them, but I can't see where else we would get the required points from in the other 4 games (Fulham H, Man City A, Everton A, Arsenal H). Best we can possibly hope for now is 15 points I reckon.
-
In which orifice?
-
Right so we just need to avoid conceding another 15 goals between now and the end of the season to ensure we're not as bad as Derby. Who's confident we can do that?
-
Well blow my bubbles. Didn't see that coming.
-
Dibling has to hit the target there.
-
Cameron Archer is "a different type of test" for WH's defenders. Hmmm.
-
Yeah, what we really need to do is make some subs because that always makes us stronger.
-
Yes. It is.

OK so we know AA is out of his depth at PL level, but in his last 3 full seasons in the Champ he's scored 70 goals. To write him off because of an unsuccessful loan spell where he has mostly been played out of position (he's not and never will be an effective lone striker) is pure folly. And if you're going to have a pop at him for playing a part in our downfall, then you also have to acknowledge that he played a huge part in us getting promoted last season.

New to Saintsweb are you? -
Not blaming, per se. But there have been some pretty disgraceful comments made towards him personally (cunt, stealing a living etc...). Some from posters who I would have thought would know better as well.
-
When he came on in the playoff first leg at the Hawthorns, he immediately improved our attack with some pace and movement, and he came closest to scoring that day with a deflected shot that their keeper did well to save. Aside from that though, his contributions have been largely forgettable.
-
I think he's suspended anyway.

Sorry if this has already been posted but I couldn't see it anywhere... https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/25068287.juric-sends-message-southampton-board-relegation/ Can't disagree with a single word of this. The recruitment last summer was a whole new level of terrible.

I haven't watched any of their games under him, but I know a lot of Wednesday fans and I can tell you that he is held in much higher regard by them than Martin ever was at Swansea. They will be gutted to lose him, but are probably resigned to it, given the perilous financial situation the club is in.
-
This is just a total fallacy I'm afraid. He may well have achieved a lot as a player, but as a manager he is aloof, distant and doesn't command any respect from his players. And that's what I was told by somebody who played under him at Everton. It's a no from me.
-
Fucking hell that's abysmal. At this point I'm actually hoping they don't even bother coming out for the second half, and just forfeit the rest of the season.
-
Jesus this is ridiculous.
-
Why the hell does it take so long to draw the lines?
-
That's just utterly pathetic. Total shambles at the back.
-
If our "winning goal" at Brighton earlier in the season was disallowed for offside then so should that have been. The inconsistency is fucking infuriating.
-
God our pink kit is truly horrific isn't it.
-
Well, the first 90 minutes of that was our best overall performance of the season. And if we could have just kept some composure for a few more minutes, we could have got the worst PL team ever monkey off our backs and maybe played the rest of the season with a bit less pressure on. At least we've broken the run of consecutive home defeats.

Of course it was
