Changing managers during the transfer window was the worst possible action Cortese could have taken. We desperately needed some improvements to the team, and as a result of the managerial nonsense we managed to sign one player who hasn't even featured yet. If we go down (which, I'm sorry to say I'm starting to believe is more likely now for the first time since November) then that will be our undoing.

Only Schneiderlin and Rodriguez did themselves justice today. AS for the rest of the team - utter, utter sh1te. Pathetic, limp, gutless - worst performance I have witnessed in a long, long time. It's all very well playing pretty little triangles of possession, but if you're not actually going to do anything with it then what's the f***ing point!? So angry right now. What makes me more angry is the fact that Redknapp gets to be all f***ing smug about it.

And if you were inside the ground right now, would you be quietly contemplating the fact that you can't win them all, or would you be loudly voicing your opinion?

God this is depressing to watch.

Great - we leave it til the last 5 minutes to actually start playing with some purpose!

Just can't see where a goal is going to come from. Nobody is penetrating enough and creating anything.

Shocking defending - really, really poor :-(

Irrelevant, it's still a drop of three places from when he started. He was brought in to do the job of keeping us up... he failed.
-
1. He blatantly only took the job in the first place to spite Mandaric. 2. He came in and immediately started spouting off to anybody who would listen that the squad of players he had was not good enough to stay up (getting his excuses in early for when it went tits-up). 3. He made some awful signings and totally disrupted the squad 4. He publicly humiliated the academy kids by setting them up to fail in the cup game at Mansfield so he could prove a point to Lowe 5. Then he admitted after leaving that he was never really bothered about the job in the first place. Seriously, how much respect do you think he is gonna get on this board? The only place he has ever really done well at is Spurs, but they seem to be happily doing well without him so his actual influence there is questionable. As others have pointed out, you really can't cite his time at Pompey as a success as it was built on completely unsustainable debt and therefore doesn't count (Jesus - even I could get a football team promoted from the Championship given the funds he was allowed to play with) so taking those out of the equation, what has he really ever achieved?

We were 17th when Redknapp took over. We finished 20th. Just saying.

I'm like that too. Absolutely love roasted parsnips on my sunday plate, but put them in a soup and the taste of it makes me gag! -
Really excited about the new album due on 1st April. Got tickets to see him and his band live in Sheffield on 21st May as well.

Very poor again today. No penetration and totally wasted a free kick in a dangerous area with a wild and pointless attempt at goal. The thing that irks me most about him is that when he tries to waltz through the oppo's defence and inevitably gives the ball away, his immediate reaction is not to try and win it back, but to fall over and complain to the referee before walking off in a huff doing that stereotypical South American hand-shrug gesture he does.

How many OGs has Hooiveld scored now this season? I know they are always the result of bad luck, and there was nothing he could have done about that one today, but you have to wonder if it can possibly just be coincidence. -
Interesting you should say that. The whole period of pressure from Newcastle (prior to the penalty incident) came about because of Fox trying to dribble his way out of trouble in defence and f***ing it up.

Positives: We scored two good goals. Negatives: Danny Fox. -
We were in the ascendancy and looking like we would be the team to go on and win it until he came on. Completely changed the shape of the team and his poor positioning and general crapness gave the game to Newcastle. Very poor from him today.

Enigma is one way of putting it. Over-hyped massive waste of money is another.
