  1. I really can't wait to see the back of this team. I can cope with losing as long as we show some effort and desire, because it at least gives you something to cheer and support, but this bunch of spineless pricks can just fuck right off as far as I'm concerned.
  2. That'll be a really appropriate autocorrect after next year's GE.
  3. 92% possession for Fulham so far, according to B365.
  4. Every cloud etc.. I'm just looking at it from a purely selfish POV. I live in Sheffield and I was hoping I would be able to watch Saints at Hillsborough next season. At least Rov'rum and Hudds stayed up, and there's still a chance the Dingles might win the L1 playoffs, so I'll still have dome fairly local games to get to.
  5. Have to feel sorry for Wednesday, and it just highlights the injustice of the playoff system really. They finished the season with a record points tally for a team outside the top two (96) and, barring a very unlikely turnaround in the second leg, they are going to lose out to a team that finished 19 points behind them, having lost three times as many games.
  6. Well I have no idea how we will line up, because it's anybody's guess what names Selles pulls out of the hat this week. Nothing we do now matters because only a miracle will prevent us from dropping now, so at the very least I would like to see our forward players just trying to win some FKs around the box so JWP can equal Beckham's record before he leaves. That would be the one solitary crumb of consolation to take from this godawful shitshow of a season.
  7. Good question. I don't see how it's possible really. We'll have to furlough it for a year to gather a baseline to work from in 2024/25 (assuming we're still in the Championship and haven't exited in an upwards or, perish the thought, downwards direction) Poor old Minsk would be turning in his grave if he could see how this thread has unravelled this season. I miss him 😢
  8. Phew. That was lucky. We might have actually lost this game otherwise.
  9. Make that 5 🙄
  10. And none of our players got in the ref's ear about it.
  11. Brighton doing what we normally do: wait until being 3-0 before starting to look remotely threatening.
  12. Yep. They look utter shit for months on end, then pull one of these unexpected performances out of the bag just when it matters. As much as I would find it hilarious to see them relegated, I'm probably quite glad they won't be in the Championship with us next season TBH.
  13. Well I reckon this result will guarantee them to finish above Leicester, cos they're not looking likely to get any more points looking at their remaining fixtures.
  14. Looking like it. Jammy cunts.
  15. Can't see it, personally. Everton have been every bit as shit as we have so far in 2023, and are just as incapable of winning their must-win games. Brighton should win at a canter.
  16. 3-0 now at HT. Not looking good for Leicester. After Forest beat us tonight, they will only be out of the relegation places on GD.
  17. That second half was no worse than we have been at times, but it was equally as bad as some, so I would class it as joint worst.
  18. True, but given what we now know, he wouldn't have been as hopeless as Jones or Selles with his selections and subs. At least we sometimes looked like we had some kind of plan under Ralph. That's something we haven't managed even once since he was sacked.
  19. Forest guaranteed 3 points against us next week, and Everton and Leicester play each other tomorrow. I think the loser of that game could be in real trouble.
  20. I know I'm going to take some stick for this, but.... Should have kept Ralph.
  21. Why is it taking so long to confirm something so fucking obvious?
  22. Everything is going to be okay... We've brought on the big guns A Armstrong and Elyounoussi.
  23. Look on the bright side... If Bazunu was in goal we'd be at least 4-1 behind by now.
