  1. What and who constitutes good though? Surely 'good' and morality is entirely relative to the time you live in. What people think is good today, people would have thought evil many years ago.
  2. Agreed. I find it much more satisfying that there is so much more that we can learn and find out, that the universe is as complex as it is, and that we are in the process of solving these mysteries rather than just accepting some mythical story.
  3. It's theoretically possible, but they are having enough trouble trying to find a decent piece of DNA for the mammoth and that is only thousands of years gone. I do wonder though, with the genetics revolution currently going on whether we could one day almost 'reverse engineer' DNA and so life tailored to what we want. We can already do this for simple celled organisms with the first 'synthetic' life created recently(though in fairness, we are hardly writing the code, merely copying existing DNA code). Surely eventually, we could just piece together the nucleotides. It'd be horrifically complex though.
  4. 2 wins and we are up in my opinion. We could be all but promoted by 10pm friday.
  5. He needs to get back playing like he was at the beginning of the year. He needs to be the sub next time though.
  6. He was useless today.
  7. Fair enough then. Though you know those people I assume.
  8. The PCT's are also unpopular for a reason, they set the budgets. GP's will become protest points under this bill. Such big distractions from their key role, seeing patients.
  9. I thought it was database only. Wouldn't the club be ****ed at someone if they gave a ticket away to someone not on the database?
  10. You stick with Billy Sharp.
  11. Don't really understand why you shouldn't be able to collect tickets on the day. What about people who live far away? Are they expected to make two trips? Letting people collect on the day is hardly going to let non-database people in either! Silly idea.
  12. I was being somewhat sarcastic as already said. I guess that's a failure of the internet. Another worrying thing about this bill, how do you distinguish between sarcasm and inside jokes and a real threat?!
  13. Ermmmm, I was being sarcastic when when I said 'If you are a good citizen, you have nothing to fear'. I would have thought my other posts would have made that clear! Authority should always be questioned. It is a terrible move.
  14. Ah well, ey? If you're a good citizen, you have nothing to fear. If David Davis is against this, it will be interesting to see if it gets through or not. I would imagine there would be a sizeable Lib Dem rebellion as well. And Labour will vote against it for opportunism.
  15. Yes. People watch one game and assume that is how we normally play.
  16. And there isn't much that can be done about it. I have to agree with David Davis on this. It's fine, but why can't we do it the old way, through the courts. It just sounds like general surveillance to me just its own sake.
  17. It's only going to go up unless we invest in alternatives. We can cut tax all we want, but it's only treating the symptoms of the underlying cause.

  19. I have an iPhone, I'm already aware of what companies for bizarre reasons have access to all my texts etc and movements. Scares you a lot if you read into it.
  20. Not a penalty ffs.
  21. Crap ball. Replaced now.
  22. Thank **** for that.
  23. It was the most stupid advice. Francis Maude is a massive weak link in this government, just like Lansley and May.
  24. George Galloway is a catholic I believe.
