I like this.

Yep, normal people from all walks on life sit on the board of governors. Most of them are elected by constituency. Though some, like the young persons one and the disabled one are nominated from a shortlist by the Hosptial.
-
Yep, board of governors. I represented young people.

That's fair enough! My brother is a doctor too though. But I can't beat 62 years.

The NHS is the greatest thing we've done. The fact we band together as a society to other treatment to all, totally blind of their race, age, wealth etc is fantastic. The fact this bill got through is a disgrace, and I still can not believe they are raising the private healthcare cap to 49% among over reforms opening up the service to rampant competition. Mark my words, I sat on a board at a hospital for a year so I know about the effects this bill could lead to, and that is creeping privatisation.

Yes, I retract the seats and say just number of votes because FPTP is ****ed up.

Labour 10 points ahead in latest comres poll.

If we go up, what away games would you want to go to?

I have been to nearly all home games since St. Mary's opened. Yet, I have never been to an away game. I must go soon. -
With high inflation, that's probably a loss But seriously, well done on those who will win money. Wish I had put a bet on now. I have only ever lost bets though!

I would have some sort of system based on how many seats you are fielding candidates in and the number of votes/seats gained at the previous election.

State funding is the only way we can free our political parties from the grips of donors and equal the field a bit more in elections.

That is true, he'd be a great addition. I'd just feel bad for Kelvin after his loyalty. But I guess sentimentality won't keep us up.

We should give Davis a go. I reckon he could do it in the prem. Keepers peak much later than outfield players, and at 35, there's no reason why Davis can't go for a season in prem. That said, I like the idea of Kasper Schmeichel.
-
And Davis has stayed with us throughout. Top man.

Reading win please. Anything that maximises our chances of promotion, winning the Championship is a second priority for me. Mind, I don't think we need any result in particular given our form, but I don't want to speak too soon!

Lallana for me, brilliant skill.

Saints 2 V 0 Doncaster Post Match Chat!!

We never looked in danger. It was more a matter of breaking them down and that we did. Our fitness really shined through. They looked tired after 70 minutes and we had massive periods of possession with ease. Rickie Lambert coming off I feel also allowed Sharp to come out of his shell a bit and out of RL's shadow. Good win. I can smell the premiership. -
Will Fabrice Fernandes get a run out?

This will not work, and I'm pretty sure the statistics they are using to back up this change are pulled out of their arseholes. The problem is a cultural one. In other European countries, there is nowhere near the problem we have, and alcohol is dirt cheap. And so I will introduce my plan for change that I am sure will be taken up the government immediately. 1. End the stigmatisation of alcohol. Educate children at school properly on sensible drinking; beyond alcohol will harm you if you drink it. This has a reverse effect. 2. Encourage parents, like in Europe to introduce Children to alcohol within a sensible environment at a young age. For example, a glass of wine with a meal from 16 as is done in other countries. 3. Allow people who are under 18 to once again drink in pubs(this was done in the past with a wink from the barman), but from the age of 16 beers and ciders should be allowed to be drunk by 16+ year olds in pubs under the watchful eye of the barman. This will introduce children to drinking in a sensible environment as used to be instead of down the park with a bottle of vodka. However, keep alcohol from supermarkets to 18+ to encourage people to drink in pubs. 4. Rise the age for spirits to 21. Much of the problem today is not in Beer and Cider drinking, it is that kids the age of 15+ and sometimes younger drink cheap vodka down the park which is very high in alcohol and very damaging, but it's also the cheapest. Rising it in this way will make it harder for young people to obtain vodkas and will make beers and ciders more attractive.

First post budget poll from Yougov gives labour an 8 point lead.

So we should have anarchy? (In the ideological sense, not the 'chaos' meaning some people use it for).
-
If that was the law. If not, I'd probably give a substantial amount to charity. I don't need £2m.

Well, I do. I'm on a gap year. What do you think I am doing with my time?
