TO be fair, from a distance it could easily look as though it did hit the post (i.e form where the fourth official was standing). However, the ref and the linesman should have a braincell between them to realise that the whole palace team are not going to go off celebrating hitting the post. Keith Hackett (chief of referees) has made a public apology to Neil Warnock and suspended the officials pending inquiry.

Don't quite know where this expectation of a CB/midfielder before today came from. I'm also going to Swindon and if a player can appear for us by then i'd rather they didn't play, because they would have to have signed by 3pm on monday. There is obviously a possibility of signing a player in the coming days, if it happens after tuesday so be it, personally i'd like a new face or two in by saturday.
