  1. Colchester losing at home to Leeds.
  2. Terrible commentary from Solent, couldn't tell if it was in or not for 15 seconds after!
  3. No away fans at this fixture cancels any trouble inside the ground.
  4. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/colchester_united/8220108.stm CHDAJFU?
  5. Congratulations Einstein, I guess Burnley thought the same against Man Utd, or hull against Arsenal? Mcleish will rest players, staying up is his only priority.
  6. 2-1, but comfortable. Still a little glad i'm busy though.
  7. Pardew can look annoyed all he wants, the fans were right. You can't be playing badly and be 1-0 down for 87 minutes and then decide it's time for a change. When the changes did come we bossed the game for the last 5 minutes, if only it had come 30 minutes earlier.
  8. Good signing, another CB before the weekend, Murty back, Wotton out of sight and we have a chance against Brentford. What's going on with Lee Holmes BTW, could give us the width we are severely lacking?
  9. Wotton can leave. Now. I haven't seen such a bad performance since Jermaine Wright was here, and that's being harsh to Wright.
  10. Good, a tall midfielder. Edit: Surprised the text thing would talk of a deal before it's done.
  11. TO be fair, from a distance it could easily look as though it did hit the post (i.e form where the fourth official was standing). However, the ref and the linesman should have a braincell between them to realise that the whole palace team are not going to go off celebrating hitting the post. Keith Hackett (chief of referees) has made a public apology to Neil Warnock and suspended the officials pending inquiry.
  12. Don't quite know where this expectation of a CB/midfielder before today came from. I'm also going to Swindon and if a player can appear for us by then i'd rather they didn't play, because they would have to have signed by 3pm on monday. There is obviously a possibility of signing a player in the coming days, if it happens after tuesday so be it, personally i'd like a new face or two in by saturday.
  13. I don't know = maybe. (You)
  14. 15 points back, 132 to play for. I'll take that.
  15. Yes, hence the signings of Harding, Murty, Lambert and Mellis to date. pardew then took today to see what we needed and is looking at other players. He knows we need more and will get more players in before the end of august. I'd rather we signed someone on wednesday morning than before tuesday because they won't know how to play with the team, such as Mellis today. Stop being 'demoralised' by the fact we may not sign someone within 48 hours of the new week, we have a good manager, money and 44 games left of this season - a future. We will buy players in the next 2 weeks so stop crying over the word 'maybe'.
  16. Demoralising? That Pardew 'might' not be able to contact a player, agree a fee with the club, agree personal terms, get them down here, pass a medical and to sign a contract before the team leave for Swindon, probably about 30 hours after he starts work again on monday morning? Wake up.
  17. So have we sold the 2,700 aswell, or still waiting on the further 500 from 2,200?
  18. West Ham v Millwall, police won't thank them for that!
  19. Exactly the same fixture as last season then.
  20. 2-1 saints, lallana double.
  21. Top 8 prem teams join in the 3rd round.
  22. Perry for olly is all i'd change, yeah
