Decided to watch this last night and thought it was an excellent film. Pretty emotional near the end and a very well told story. 8.5/10

Watched Mercury Rising last night. It was a mid-90s 'thriller' with Bruce Willis which means: The FBI all wear suits and drive slow Fords, the FBI are seen to be doing the right thing but Willis goes off on one and looks to be the villain but turns out the hero. It also means that they are all fighting against 'modern' technology which, even for the time, looks stupid. A similar theme is seen in the first die-hard, but that was done very well and is a great film. This, however, is done very poorly so I advise you to avoide at all costs. 4/10 (P.S The books may have been better though)

Good news, Saga has been crap for me on FIFA today and rasiak, well.....i won't go there. Probably means we'll be getting other strikers in.

Watched The Pianist last night. Found it to be a strange film, following the true story of a Jewish pianist (supposedly the best in Europe at the time), and how he managed to first escape going to a labour camp and then escape the confines of the Ghetto. Shows the shocking truth about the German treatment of the Jews and for about an hour focuses on his isolation in Warsaw after severe bombings and his struggle for food. If you do watch it be sure to get a copy that has english subtitles (for when the soldiers talk) otherwise you may only understand every 10th word (like me ). Still an interesting watch 7.75/10

Looks like a great signing, Pardew has singled out the main position we are very weak at currently. Lets hope for some more to come in the next few days

Agreed, not impressed so far though.

I'm judging Rasiak on the games I've seen him in a Saints shirt, and so far he's been nothing short of SHOCKING. Lazy, bad first touch and has come close to scoring, which, for a striker, isn't great.

Well, at this time of the year it's the ONLY way to judge players. What else is Pardew going to judge them on, their skills of nicking handbags?

Hardly wetting myself at this 'scoring for fun' myth. Pre-season - Rasiak.............Played: 5 Scored: 0 4/5 Games being against teams that are worse than us. You seem to think it was the fans that made him completely unwanted last season, despite the fact HE didn't want to be here last season, hence why he spelt all year out on loan. At the minute I couldn't care elss if he goes, but if he stays I hope i'm proven wrong.
