With a bit of luck the FL will get their "advice" sorted today, get back to Tony and a deal can be agreed, allowing the staff to be paid.
-
With other consortiums seemingly edging ever closer to a takeover this really is D-Day for Pinnacle. A failure to deliver an agreement or atleast an announcement saying the takeover will be done tomorrow, I think will spell the end for them and somebody else will become the 'front-runner'.
-
SSN have completely forgotten, not even in the coming up bit.
-
Haha, lucky this is not South Today
-
Le Tiss on SSN after the break.

Looks like tomorrow may well be the day. The amount of times i've heard that....!
-
Doesn't that just means the Irish are still interested. But red said that the takeover (ie. by Pinnacle) would be completed today/tomorrow?
-
Good talks with the FL would explain why things have been more on the hush today.

Does Schumacher not test drive Ferrari's? Therefore the only way Top Gear could get the new ferrari on the show was by having Schumacher drive it round the track, as they weren't going to let just anybody drive a £1,000,000 car.

It looks like someone drank a banana milkshake, threw it up and thought it looked half decent!

"The Board of The Football League met today to consider representations from the 'Pinnacle Group' with regard to their proposed takeover of Southampton Football Club. "The Football League has the responsibility to ensure all League clubs start the season with certainty as regards the competition they compete in. "With that in mind, The Football League has responded directly to the Pinnacle Group, and will continue to liaise with their representatives going forward. " Means that they won't allow an appeal because, if successful, it would mean moving up the league table and ahead of other teams.
-
Pinnacle have to accept it and just carry on. Can't see Le Tiss or TL saying they guve up due to this.

Seriously looks as though his head has been photoshopped in. -
I expect a deal to go through on friday (obviously) as I can see "small issues" and "slight hitches" arising within the next few days.
-
Surely the earliest we'd hear any developments would be around 3pm, based on the FL meeting being for the afternoon?
-
I imagine so, but the OS said tuesday 23rd.
-
Ticket prices clearly won't be the same as last season, can't see anyone paying £28 for league one. But I believe there will be ticket news come tuesday.
-
Tried his best with what he had, so fair play to him for that. But it's onwards and upwards.

Yes he's there to back us up if pinnacle fails but I can't see Le Tiss saying "that's the end of it, your turn". And does he honestly thinks fans would want a photocopier salesman and the manager of columbia rather than the club's biggest legened, "hundreds of millions of pounds" and Kevin Keegan?!

Are we still classed as in administration? If so don't we have to be out of it by a certain date (possibly June 21st?) or we get a further 15 point deduction? Or have i got it completely wrong?
