Literally none of the promotors communicated with one another before he came onto the scene. When we played Chelsea, the club released an additional few hundred/ thousand tickets nearer to the date which were in great locations- annoying that they just don’t open up the whole stand as it’ll easily sell out.

Had some great seats reserved at 09:15 this morning, in the central area cat 3… but then got kicked out! Had no choice but to rejoin the 1 hour long queue. My reserved seats were cancelled and the only ones available were right at the back! Bastards! I think I’m closer to my house in Southampton than the pitch.

So that’s that then. It’s the hope that kills you. If we make it to the play off final, I’d rather play Ipswich out of the top 3. At least our squad will get a proper rest in the lead up. I don’t think the game goes ahead today regardless. Elf and Safety- can’t allow 30k inhaling the fumes/ smoke and it’ll take a couple of days for them to dampen down the fire to ensure it doesn’t reignite. Hopefully a decision will be made soon which allows enough time for all fans to plan ahead.

Great result considering West Brom are one of our rivals. It makes it even sweeter getting one over these considering how they and Portsmouth teamed up to send us down all those years ago. Big shout out to Sam Allison. I’ve watched EPL games and its referees- the standard is pretty dreadful. This is with the help of VAR. Sam made one of the toughest calls today, sending their manager off- he got this absolutely spot on regardless if it’s too harsh. Rules are there for a reason. He’s also an ex professional footballer which helps. How many times have referees avoided making big decisions… The Stephen’s handball/ foul on Mara both could have gone either way. We’ve been on the end of some rubbish decisions and also had some favourable ones. Onto the next game. Up the Saints!
