all of our life savings are in Euros, we've made about £8k in the last year on the exchange rate alone (the money is for down payment on a house in the UK when we eventually buy)

Before anyone else points it out: "i prefer a PS3 for the very reason that it is a media centre" - 360 can do everything the PS3 can in this respect. "i can download stuff on my laptop, put it on my memorystick and play it straight on my ps3" - Same, in fact the Xbox360 supports more video codecs. "i just charge up the controller by plugging it in" - Same, but you have to buy the cable of course. And before you ask, yes I have both consoles.

I'm in the mood over xmas for some classic comedy standups that I may have missed. I watched Izzards 'Dress to kill' recently and thought it was just "ok"... can anyone else suggests some classics I may have missed?

FT. Skates are out of Europe

Wolfsburg player closes him down and he tries to lazily pass it out of his box, the pass is so limp he just end up passing it to the wolfsburg striker 5 yards in front of him who calmly takes it around him and slots it into an open net. ****ing classic howler that was.

Braga have gone 2-1 up at heerenveen. Stays like this and Pompey are out of Europe

Think it depends on the heerenveen result, if they beat Braga then the skates survive (its currently 1-1 i think), but skates MUST win this game, and wolfsburg are top of the group

both teams seem to want to play at 100 miles an hour, and both teams are defending really poorly... theres more goals in this game yet..
