just watched the follow up to zeitgeist... i think it was really made on a reaction to the monetary commentry in the first movie grabbing most peoples attention. We are centuries, if not millienia away from implementing anything like the venus project, the human nature for greed will not disappear overnight just because we live in some kind of gene roddenberry rosey view of communism.

Yeah, my father-in-law's dialect+accent makes him so hard to understand, yet my brother in laws (who presumably use the same dialect) I can chat with fine. My missus saw a bit of Rab C Nesbit on TV yesterday, i said "that...that is what its like for me trying to understand your dad!"

probably dialect mate, since I've never been to holland or speak to the dutch, i've no idea how much of my language is proper dutch and how much is "yee-haw vlaams dialect!"...
