Would recommend you look into a VPN service that will route your ip via Europe. I use vypervpn from giganews when I want to hide my traffic.

I believe the exact words were that I didn't ban you but I would have a word and see if I could get you access -
I just didn't "get" it... It was enjoyable but I guess maybe it was overhyped for me.

Godfather Pt II 2001 The Longest Day

Precisely. Saying image is nothing is ludicrous. Your image combined with your substance is what can make you stand out from others lacking in either area. I teach my own kids manners, how to use and hold their cutlery, as well as asking to leave the table. I hope one day they see how important that was to eat meals in a civilized manner, and pass this onto their own children.

Except that I didn't offer it you back. -
Im planning something a little.. odd. I need to find someone who lives by the coast in Newcastle area, and someone north east, so blackpool area would be ideal... thanks

Personally I'm against this for several reasons: Firstly, the reasons for a banning are dealt with by infractions, which are viewable by both the moderator/admin and the person being banned. So at the 1 to 1 level, we are already being completely transparent. A banned person knows exactly why they are banned. Secondly, someone being banned is not a matter of democracy. There is no point in discussing why someone was banned in an open forum, it will only create more friction. As said above, the business of the infractions is between the mod/admin and the banned user. Lastly, its more work. Since we can easily put these out in the open, it means myself or steve are going to have to use more of a time to come up with a system that will show you all why someone was banned.

Myth, sadly, they stopped around 2003, the "majority" is still, but not all.

can someone who's a registered user confirm you can now start a thread... not sure if ive done it right
-
Me and steve have checked, and as far as we can tell there's no where where we state starting threads is a privilege, except for this thread of course :S With that in mind, ill make the changes to the forum now and put an announcement out that all registered users can now start threads.

Cheers Wurzel... that's a really good spot!

Dune, believe me, we poured over all options and donations simply isn't viable due to attrition. We saw this from when we operated with donations before. We simply cant afford what we need based on donations.
