Lol, what an epic thread. NorthamSteve. I have my own studio here and have recoded and produced stuff, so wouldn't really want to get involved in any more complicated projects like that. If however we go together as a 3, you, me, supermikey and had a play about, could see where it leads?

Its still in testing hence why a) You have to refresh and it doesnt update AJAX style (it will, in the end) b) Not styling exists, because at the moment we are worried more about function than form c) It is only about 40% into development, but it "works" enough at the moment to be useful, hence why I have put it live. For the technically minded amongst you, we will be running this off a separate lite http server soon meaning it sits separate from the forum and will ALWAYS work, even if the forum is suffering a slowdown.

Good good Even my macbook which is bottom of the range (except for a ram upgrade), FULL of apps and is used stacks still runs as quickly as when it was clean installed. Of course, this is far more testament to OSX as an operating system than the mac hardware itself, but still.

Yeah, the duplications are actually an update to the game of something ive not coded for yet, i wont know what it is til the games over and i can look at the data.

it should refresh itself, in the end it will work same as bbc, like auto show new updates without you touching anything.

We are sent them from, some company, I forget the name, steve dealt with all that stuff. But we get an update as and when they happen, so our commentary checks for updates every 20 seconds.

thanks guys. I should point out that this is 100% official. We have the rights to do this etc, I only started it Thursday night so i just want to see how it handles. Ive built it so it puts minimum load on the server, idea being even if the forum goes down, people will still be able to view this.
