Hi all, For the last couple of days I've been working on a live text commentary feature for the website. It is very VERY much in testing stage. Ugly as sin, missing a score at the top, but I would really appreciate it if as many of you as possible could test it for me, and keep an eye on it, and reply to this thread. 1976_Child again makes some good points actually (even if it is a little... trantrum..ish.. if thats a word). All threads, when locked SHOULD be followed by a single post by whichever moderator locked the thread explaining why, even if that's "locking thread for obvious reasons". Ill raise this again with all the mods and ensure its stuck to. Customer charter: To be quite honest, given how much spare time myself and steve put into this (unpaid I might add, before you try to link the "profit making business" lining our own pockets... it doesnt), I wouldnt expect this any time soon, if ever. If we had a list of priorities (for example, I've spent the last 12 hours working on a new feature for the website) the charter can wait. Mods: If, after so many posts, you don't know who the mods are then I'd be shocked. We wont be displaying these on the website because, quite frankly, I've got better things to do. I'm sure there's probably a way of finding out this information from the forum if it's absolutely required. Lastly, as others have pointed out, if you want us to take your complaint seriously, speak to us directly. You know who we are and standing on a soapbox shouting "look at me" isn't really going to endear us into providing you with a quick reply. (I've been looking at this thread all day thinking... meh.. better things to do).

why not PM the mods directly? Why start a thread in public?

One and only time ive ever hit a girl/woman, and sometimes i think it can be ok. School coach trip to Germany circa 1990. Resulted in her screaming, bloody nose and two teachers coming over and asking us both our stories. After a few whispers between them and me expecting to get a bollocking, they turned to Wendy and said "well I hope you learned a lesson from that" and buggered off...

Cheers again. I come from the island and they've done that and places there to death. Took them to INTECH today and they thought it was great. Taken them to places like longdown, marwell pretty regularly, however, some excellent other suggestions here for friday

Thankfully I'm back with David Evans estate agents now, who have always been the best I've ever dealt with. The owner himself dealt with my problem at 9:30 at has an electrician coming out this morning.

Long story, so bear with me... Living in a rented house in Eastleigh. The house alarm (which supposedly doesnt work) went off last night when I had to turn the power off at the mains... and of course went mental for 20 minutes with me having no way to turn it off. I even tried pulling the box off the wall and "hot wiring" the 6 wires that come out in various combinations, only succeeding in pausing the ringing, not stopping it. Am contacting the estate agent, but also interested in other peoples thoughts. Problems I have now are: a) If I lose power, the alarm will go off again. I tried turning the power off at the mains, it had no effect. b) Having now pulled the box off the wall, I'm going to have to rewire it back on, however I've no way of doing it since I dont have the installation manual, and can't see any identifiable marks on the keypad or PSB inside.

Thanks for some excellent suggestions. Little more info. Kids are 2 and 5, dont *really* want to drive more than 30 mins, so that's pretty much andover/southampton/portsmouth/winchester.

Trying to think of places to take the kids for the next few days. Can't be done with the chaos of paulton park etc, but does anyone have any suggestions of places locally they might like to go to?

Sorry for the second winchester thread in quick succession. The missus is over for the weekend and wants to sample a little of the nightlife in Winchester. Pretty sure there's no clubs as such, but can anyone recommend some lively bars... and perhaps some more romantic quieter bars should the mood take us
