Not too sure that Ings will be that bothered, the move was about one thing and one thing only, which is his perogative of course. Feel a bit for Matt Target, he had a good season last year, but now this himself frozen out.

To be fair Mike Dean has handled the game pretty well upto now. Could've blown for a possible foul just before the first goal, but let play go on. Handled the light issue well, gave them a chance to fix it, but got the game back on. He'll be happy as Larry now, just sent someone off...!

12 on the bounce eh? Unlucky 13, hopefully then.

No, they weren't. No, it wasn't. No, I won't.

Yeah, probably so. I just made my figures up (guessed) to be honest. If you were there to witness it, it was almost as if time stood still. When it hit the back of the net there was also a very short moment in time where everybody thought 'did he just do that?' Then bedlam ensued for a while, great moment to witness.

S = D/T So approx 35.4m/2.38 secs Ummmm not sure, but bloody fast..!

Burnley v Newcastle, is their last game of the premiereship season. I do hope that the gods of football are lining up a Chris Woods own goal that keeps Burnley up and condemns Newcastle to the championship. I would love it... as some famous bloke once said.

Play our normal 'fast start' game, get in front early, and then defend for our lives! Realistically, two teams on completely different planets, so long as we get out without any major injuries and pride intact I'm not that fussed.

Just got back. Meh it was one of those games, played fairly well but lacked cutting edge in the final third. Started well (as we do) but rarely looked like scoring, and wolves were happy to let us have lots of the ball and play on the break. Not sure if it was a pen, looked like one of those double tap tackles, looked like he got the ball first and then the man on the big screen. No idea what fraser was doing for the second one though, or what Salisu was doing for the third, should've closed Triore but stood off him and he just walked around him and buried it. All of that said we didn't play badly and with a little luck we could've got a point. Never seen so much gamesmanship and time wasting, wolves knew all the tricks. On the up side, I can say 'I was there' every time they play JWP's super strike. Decent away day, shame about the result.

Thank you all! I was using the correct app but it just kept saying that my covid pass has expired and wouldn't renew it! However I have now sorted it after lots of messing about, I also have hard copy print outs, and my individual inoculation cards as well. So all bases covered, many thanks for your advice.

Anybody know how strict the Covid 19 Pass checks will be? Me and the boy both fully jabbed but the NHS Covid 19 pass app ain't working for us.

The cynic in me believes this deal is much more to do with weakening Burnley, than their belief that Chris Woods is the answer to their goalscoring problems. Toon really are a very smelly, shitty club now aren't they?

I bought a couple of tickets this morning, there was only about 30 left then, so best hurry.

JWP, immense.

Given the circumstances, very good result. Not the greatest performance, but we dug in and ground out a win. Should've been comfortable before the ending off, but job done so well done all.

Didn't even realise he was on the pitch...!

You do realise you guys are missing the masked singer, don't you?

The start of yet another disastrous second half of the season? I really hope not...

I was thinking exactly the same yesterday, totally agree. Unfortunately though it won't happen. Newcastle are holding all the money, and the aces. Quite sickening really, used to like them as a club, absolutely dispise them now.
-
It's amazing what money does to people, as far as I'm concerned they can take their ill gotten gains and do one. Unfortunately the best case scenario is they go down this season before buying their way to promotion and success next. Sickening that players are willing to take the knee in a show of support and solidarity, yet take their pay from this sort of regime. Money totally blinds people's morals, every time.
