I agree there is a rotten core at sfc's centre, the players somehow have the mentallity that because they are wearing a saints shirt then nothing too much is expected of them. If i was Liebhier I would have got rid of the whole lot and as you say started from scratch even davis, because the club desperately needed to be re-born. It needed a fresh team of players with no prior history of having played for us before, and it wasn't beyond the realms of possibility we'd have had to pay a few contracts up but the majority were out of contract anyway.

http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showpost.php?p=422960&postcount=205 Who is keyser soze? (the correct spelling) who indeed

You should be ashamed of your comments in this post and your previous one. So your saying as Saints fans we have some divine right to win our first three games? okay the performances and sometimes effort has been poor. But to come out with a tirade of abusive language against Pardew after three games is just insane. Personally I would have banned you for post 205 if I was a mod, I understand your anger but there is no place for that on this forum. Its something you'd expect that lot down the road to say not a saints fan.

And thats the key point our players issue a rallying call and then go out and give another totally unsatisfactory woefully inept performance and have to issue yet another one. I guess its best not to even look at the OS these days
-
Best stay clear of the Echo then
-
I'd rather no apologetic waffle and false promises/rallying cries on the OS the team needs to put things right on the pitch were it counts
-
Its all to do with Pardew not having enough time to get the players ready for the season. We needed him in place at the start of pre-season
-
We are ****e make no mistake but we should still be beating teams like Swindon when u look at it on paper there can be no excuses. I know its only three games in but at this rate were gonna be lucky to have a point without a minus in front of it on the board, by Christmas!

How is owen a weird name? just strange seeing it spelt the irish way
-
Sign him alongside Lambert and I seriously would begin to think we have the fire power to get out of this league at our first attempt
-
sweet jesus he has the same initials as he who we do not speak of! for a moment i thought he'd returned as a striker!
-
We are better off without either of them, but I wish them both well. The fact remains neither of them should have been here in the first place.
-
camera would be devestating in this league, wouldn't even consider a move here when there will be loads of championship and indeed premiership offers
-
Whats Chris Baird up to these days Is he getting a game?
-
Problem is we can't afford our usual peace poor start to the season which is a saints trademark, being on -9 we need to hit the ground running. We have to go into every game believing we can and will win games. Its depressing seeing your team with not even a point on the board. Having said that theres no way we should bring in the negativity if we lose some of the first five or six games this is essentially a new team and of course it will take time.

Isn't she originally from Bournemouth?
-
What it needs is for some friendly competition between the two, pardew could whisper to Raziak, Lambert will score more goals than you and if you think he won't than get out on the pitch and prove it! and vice versa
-
Don't think its fair to have these comparison type threads designed to create animosity towards ex-players. I'm prob misisng the point though

Yeah it almost feels weird to be able to concentrate on whats going on on the pitch for a change rather than what the next catastrophic decision by the inept board is going to be. It feels good
-
including one against us by the look of it

Not wanting to get carried away but it seems that we are slowly entering a new dawn, it seems a lot of peoples enthusiasm towards the club and city are slowly returning! We have experienced the darkest of times and at the lowest point under (He who we shall not name) 's Reign i.e the whole going dutch saga and subsequent admin I think a lot of us had lost faith in the notion that we are a superb club and most people couldn't face the pain of watching an extended death of a once great club. Make no mistake we have a lot of hard work to do and its going to be a long term plan over the next four or five years but I honestly believe that we will see SFC return to where it belongs as a great premiership club! It may be a cliche to say it but I feel once more we as fans can be proud to be saints fans once more! (Lets face it at one point if you told people you were a saints fan you would face a wave of s******s) I guess what I'm saying is I can see a light at the end of the tunnel and its getting brighter by the day! Heres to a much brighter future, up the saints! PS Sorry for this somewhat overly sentimental self satisfied rant, my god the swear filter wont let me write s******s!
