So many good and bad memories over the last 40+ years of supporting Saints. But for some reason, the stand out result for me was the 4-1 demolition of Liverpool in '89. That was such a great team, full of both experience and youth, and all good characters. Liverpool went on to win the league that season, and that result somehow made up for the FA Cup semi-final defeat in '86 at White Hart Lane. Unfortunately, I was at Highbury in '84 for that semi-final as well, which is probably the most painful game I've been to. Beating Watford at Villa Park in 2003 is a close second in terms of the best, but the match against Liverpool is the one that really sticks out.

I've just done exactly the same for a mate where both tickets were bought using my email. He simply registered on the Saints Tickets app with his own email address. I was then able to transfer one of the tickets directly in the app. I just clicked on the relevant ticket, and there was an option to transfer it by entering their email address. Worked perfectly. Hope this helps!

Haven’t got the email yet, but did have to update the app earlier. Might be worth a try.

Just sent you a pm

Hi MB yes I do have the app. I’ll private message you shortly. Many thanks. I owe you one.

Hi MB, I'll use it if still available?

It may be a long shot, but if we win tomorrow and Leicester don't beat WBA, promotion is in our own hands. If we win all 4 remaining games neither Leeds or Leicester could finish above us. Saints 96 Leicester maximum of 95 Leeds Maximum of 93 Can't see us beating both Leicester and Leeds away but you never know....

You might be right. It was a long time ago....

I needed to double check, but you're right; it was. He had a cracking home debut against Liverpool the following week, with a great cross for Rideout to score.

Last time I went to Loftus Road was 89. Hopefully same result this Saturday when I go back. 4-1 away win with goals from Shearer, Wallace (2) and Le Tissier. We then beat Liverpool 4-1 at home the next week. What a team that was. Flowers, Dodd, Benali, Osman, Ruddock, Case, Cockerill, Le Tissier, Rideout, Shearer, Wallace comments

Great piece to watch. Love the section at the end, taking you behind the scenes, for a game against Utd. A proper kit as well, simple red and white stripes with black shorts.

James Beattie seems to have become a Saints fan. He was in with the away fans at Palace.

Lots of seats now available in Block 17 if anyone still needs one.

prior to the breakaway for their third goal - Lyanco is seen standing on halfway line - holding his throat in pain. The closest player to him... - is the eventual Wolves scorer. Was Lynaco struck in an off-the-ball incident?. The more one looks at the highlights, the more suspicious it becomes. Lyanco then, sinks to his knees and the medics. run onto the field - after goal has been scored. Looks like he took an elbow in the throat going for the clearance. Didn't notice it during the match, but I don't have VAR at home. Strange it wasn't looked at, as they only seemed to check the possible offside.

Haven't tried yet, but I'm in the same position. T&C's don't look favourable for a refund. https://www.southamptonfc.com/season-tickets/ticketing-terms-and-conditions/ticketing-terms-and-conditions

A third party are making the replica kits with the new sponsor, so no UA logo. From SFC site: In order to get the shirts re-made as quickly as possible, the club’s Technical Partner Under Armour have kindly granted the club permission to replicate the shirts via a third-party provider. As a result, the shirts will be an exact replica of the playing shirts worn by Ralph Hasenhüttl’s first team, but without Under Armour branding.

Thank god for that. Far more bodies up front and therefore looked dangerous going forward for once.
