If it's 50k net it puts him on close to 120k a week which seems excessive somehow but considering how Utd are splashing the cash it wouldn't be totally unbelievable.

If any of the big clubs were to buy him he would literally be in the next squad, there are a dearth of good right-backs in England and Hodgson is still ignoring Clyne who has been excellent in the prem now for 2 years. This is one of the reasons why it is so difficult to hold onto our players, look how long it took Morgan to get a call up or even some of our England boys who were performing week in and week out. It's insane because our players are playing AGAINST better sides and impressing, surely that should recommend rather than hinder them?

Amazing setpieces, lacks a yard of pace and needs to develop a good footballing brain to make up for it (he's impressive for his age but still needs to know which pass to make). I really like him as a player though.
