as much as we give him stick, so happy to see Long score. Tidy performance, but today it's almost more alarming how poor Everton are.
-
Everton are almost making it to easy for us, so much space going forward we don't know what to do with it, If we don't win this game it will be our worst result of the season by far.
-
another great result, feels like it's finally coming together under Ralph. We haven't had a period of results like this for a few years.
-
loving the confidence on here. Main concern is we played with real high intensity last night with arguably the strongest 11 we could put out. As poor as Utd have been by their standards, with an extra days rest, think they will just edge it. Utd 2-1 Saints (Ronaldo pen 41, Pogba 58, Ward-Prowse 80)
-
sorry, what?
-
very disappointed in the line up, thought Ralph might see this as a better opportunity than that of picking up points in the next 2 league games. Saints 0-1 Coventry (Gyokeres 61).
-
City due to drop some points, so anticipating an early red card for Laporte after 10 mins. Saints 1-1 City (Silva 27, Adams 41)
-
fairplay Leeds, they've been thin on the ground and still played. Don't know how I was unaware, but 2 week 'winter break' at the end of the month? Surely the postponed games will be getting rearranged for then, Leicester have already had a break
-
we are due a defeat unfortunately so expect Wolves to win this 1-0 in a close game.
-
dominated that half, should be 2 goals clear at least, but we all know it goes downhill in the 2nd half of games. Even a draw would be our worst result of the season. Some decent options on the bench with Adams and Armstrong bros.
-
missed the game. Very confused by this threat, the usual non-stop slating of everyone during the game, then praise for a great win at the end of it
-
Top 4 contenders Villa only a point ahead of us. Looking more likely the bottom 3 as it stands will go down. Think we will be ok now, 5 wins out of 19 games required, which is relegation form.
-
haha yes I recall their unstoppable momentum from last season on here where they won 8 in a row to nearly catch us. Managed 5 wins all season
-
some good results for us today, Watford and Norwich both well beaten. Think we should be ok, 5 wins from 19 games should do the job
-
bad time to be playing them, although we should have options to change things up a bit with Adams/Tella/Armstrong bros. Heart says we can grab a 1-1 but head says 4-1 Spurs. At least it's not a must win game following the West Ham result
-
very concerning the line up, going to be a painful 90 mins.
-
can't be another stadium we have a worse record at over the last four seasons. Heart says if Adams and Armstrong are back we get a battling 2-2, head says the usual routine 3-0 West Ham
-
yeah unbelievable, nice to see it was rejected. They are a bit short on numbers but still a very strong first 11
-
what changes is Ralph going to make to ensure we implode in the 2nd half? In all seriousness, please, please just win for a change
-
comfortable win for Palace, we can barely win/score even when our strikers are available. Very easy money to be made on the Palace win to cover the cost of Christmas. We will return stronger for the Brentford game. Palace 2-0 Saints (Ayew 28, Zaha 64)
-
would love to know the 3 players you would take out of our squad to make us 'very, very average'
-
if we don't get anything from the next 2 games then that could be our season over. it's so frustrating as on many occasions we show a bit of promise, but even the games we have won we have made hard work of.
-
Arsenal should be able to win this comfortably due to us missing Romeu and Salisu. Having said that, it's Arsenal. Start and clean sheet for Willy, Lyanco with a header from JWP corner in the 88th minute to win it.
-
the views of fans seem to change from week to week. A few weeks back, there was concern of rumours of him leaving to go to Villa/Norwich, now we can't get rid of him quick enough. There have been some questionable tactical decisions, but this is an average squad; it may be difficult to accept, but we are no longer able to compete financially with many teams in this league. Martin Semmens spoke well about the subject on the Total Saints Podcast recently, and the reasons for not seeking a replacement. This may all change with a potential takeover, but unless we find ourselves in the relegation zone I don't think we will see any change.

still raging, it's become so be predictable. Wednesday night at half time, you just know we wont win the game, same again yesterday. It's such fine lines, we were a few minutes from a big three points and mid table, now we look relegation candidates. This side is incapable of scoring enough goals when on top, it is so frustrating.
