sadly, they are showing clear ambition, spending the Grealish money in advance. We've made plenty in transfer fees and spent it poorly. It's really just a case of surviving now
-
out of nowhere. We were obviously more than happy to accept right away for the price. Just in shock it has happened so quick. But Villa??
-
don't know how to post photo but it's on Hummel's twitter page.
-
feels like the worst season for years; the period of good form from the 3rd game onwards until December seems a lifetime ago. With Ings to City nearly done, and an inevitably low transfer spend, it's difficult to envisage anything other than relegation next season.
-
yeah used to be 3-1 most weeks against the like of Dagenham and Redbridge. In fact, it was, Lallana, Lambert and Guly on the score sheet
-
Great performance from Tella, lovely attacking move for that goal. Nice to see us playing a bit better now the pressure is off
-
probably our most consistent player this season. Love his work rate, and also determination to drive forward and take on players despite not being the quickest He turns up in games most frequently, and I would say player of the season (not that its much to shout about given our season)
-
nerves building already, it might not mean much to fans of some of the other clubs, but for me this is our most important game since Swansea away
-
written in the stars. In all seriousness, would be huge for Ralph if he did win it for us. Most likely we will be calling for his head at this time tomorrow when we are 2-0 down
-
Fulham really looking unstoppable now. We should be looking nervously over our shoulders. In all seriousness, they've won 5 games all season, yet if you only followed on here you'd think they'd won 5 in a row
-
Any draw was going to be tough. They are a good side no doubt, but we can be confident Ralph will play our strongest 11 and go all out for the win. Just need 3 points on the board before to confirm safety.
-
beyond shocking in that 2nd half. We are lucky we got so many points early on in the season. Only hope now is to start employing the same tactics as we did in the Chelsea game to pick up the couple of points we need.
-
can't believe Fulham didn't beat the City 'B' side, given their incredible form chasing that 6th win of the season. Just another game passed where there has been no pressure put on us.
-
strange team selection, seems like he has given up. May walk soon as they are never going to match what they've achieved over the last couple of seasons
-
never should have let Reed and Lemina go
-
expecting another big Fulham win today to continue their great run of 2 wins in 17 league games.
-
Get the 3 points here then chuck in the kids for another 9-0 on Wednesday
-
they should have won that. Another team, much like Brighton, who keep getting praised by media and pundits. They've won 9 games between them.
-
I feel like Ralph went into the Chelsea game with a 'must not lose' attitude. I suggest we use the same tactics for this game. A 0-0 would be a great result, as sad as it is to say.
-
never a pen, he's gone looking for it. Salah would have been proud of his efforts though.
-
nice to see the moaning has started. One of the first opportunities Ralph has had to rotate his squad, and a good time to do it.
-
feels like we've had nearly 2 seasons of Brighton 'playing well but not getting results'.
-
if you listened to the media and didn't check the table you'd think Leeds were title challengers. We will certainly get opportunities and this is a game they will be expecting to win. Think we win this comfortably, 0-3
-
take a point all day long. Seems like we sacrificed attack to keep numbers at the back. Armstrong and KWP are such huge losses for us. Very assured from Salisu, Djenepo with some serious workrate too. Ings very quiet, but Tuesday night should be a completely different game.
-
Feel we may just get a bit of luck today. Chelsea are due to drop some points and we are certainly due some. Need a spark from Minamino or Ings and a bit of last ditch, back to the walls defending that we have seen on previous occasions against some of the bigger teams. Saints 3-1 Chelsea (Ings 18, Minamino 32, Ward-Prowse 57, Mount 44)
