  1. It's a big if. Let's just hope we do win and stay on track.
  2. I fail to see how you've failed to answer my question. If we lose on saturday, do you think we will lose no more than 3 games for the rest of the season?
  3. Because prior to the Swansea game, we needed to win around 2 out of every 3 games to have a chance of 4th, so losing a maximum of 5 from 16. So say we do lose saturday, do you honestly think we will get through 14 games only losing 3?
  4. Near enough, yes. Still a great season but it would be difficult to accept losing out on a top 4 spot having been in the race for so long. How some people think we might still have a chance if we lose on Saturday is beyond me.
  5. 1. Schneiderlin 2. Wanyama 3. Fonte
  6. We should be nearly back to full strength. I'm not interested in what QPR are doing, we must beat them. There can be no excuses. This is our biggest game in nearly 3 years. Let's hope we play like it is. Going to go for a 2-1 win, Mane and Dunne og. Defeat is absolutely unthinkable, so nervous already
  7. I think the most worrying thing is that we've played to our maximum potential for the most part this season, whereas the teams around us haven't, yet are only a few points behind. I'd like to think we can get to the Europa. Let's not forget that 4th place could land us with a tricky CL qualifier anyway. Plus as mentioned, teams like Arsenal know what it takes now for the rest of the season. Just have a feeling we will lose another 5 or 6 games.
  8. We were close to it. Either way it's been a great season and we should easily beat last season's points total. I was expecting 10th-12th place so anything above that is a bonus. I think we've all got a bit over-excited and rightly so. But I feel too many people are taking it for granted that we will beat all the sides we did in the first half of the season. West Ham at home, Sunderland, Stoke, QPR and Leicester all away, are we realistically going to take maximum points again from those fixtures? Unlikely.
  9. There wouldn't. We would have left ourselves too little margin for error. We need to win 2 out of every 3 to have any chance
  10. Not sure what he does apart from whipping in a few decent crosses. Looks incapable of scoring, no pace, and far too lightweight. He seems like a good kid, but nowhere near good enough for us. We will probably see him in the Championship in the next few years. I think it's a common belief he is a good player just because he has come up through the academy, but there's a reason no one has tried to buy him
  11. Exactly, up until recently he'd never even assisted a goal, and never looks like scoring. I really don't see what else he provides for the team, or what his role is. As for the game itself, it was just one of those days. Some of the reactions from people saying we were **** are hilarious.
  12. I've said numerous timed, don't get the JWP hype. He is a Championship player at best. I see he has signed a five-year contract, but he isn't a player who can help us progress
  13. Now this really is a must win game, even a draw is no good. Their defence is awful, play like we did today and we will create enough opportunities to score a couple. If we lose, that really is it as far as the top 4 is concerned
  14. Gutting, fair play to Swansea though, a well executed game plan. Our top 4 hopes are very slim now. Fighting for 6th now.Still been a good season though.
  15. Just hasn't happened for us today. Think that's our top 4 hopes gone as well. Oh well, Europa League it is
  16. In a way maybe the Palace defeat was a bit of a wake up call. RoKo says the team have had a good week of training. As mentioned, if we get the first goal I think we'll see them off comfortably. 2-0 Saints, Pelle x 2
  17. Strange how we all worry about the form of others when we are top of the form table! Next weekend both Spurs and Arsenal may drop points. The key games are against Liverpool and Spurs, even a draw would be ok against both, just vital not to lose. One game at a time, I think if we lose to day people will be worried, but we're playing Swansea at a good time.
  18. The others around us will drop points. The worrying thing is, I think it's fair to say we've been playing to our maximum potential so far this season, whereas the others around us haven't. It's vital we stay ahead of our rivals, if we drop a few places and have to play catch up, it might be too much of an ask.
  19. It really is. It's important to remember we've been ahead of most of the other sides for the majority of the season. Just have a feeling it'll be too difficult for us if we're having to play catch up. A long way to go, but even tomorrow is a must win game
  20. Predictable set of results. We really do need 3 points tomorrow
  21. 2 0 Spurs. Massive pressure on us to win tomorrow now, can't see any of our rivals failing to win
  22. Yeah he is definitely the player to replace Morgan, especially if we qualify for the Champions League
  23. I don't get some of the reactions from people. He is a good player, but clearly not going to play ahead of Schneiderlin and Big Vic. Not a massive loss, RoKo obviously has faith in Reed, who's impressed in a few games. Cork's been a good servant, wish him well at Swansea
  24. Did we score many late goals under him though?
  25. I imagine he'll make the bench at best, I'm sure RoKo hasn't considered him in his plans for the game anyway
