Ings fits the player profile for us a lot better than some of the other potential strikers, I'd be happy with him coming here
-
Anyone else getting frustrated? Any rumours of a new striker coming in have gone quiet, we really do need one though. Get the feeling we must be in the market for a defender now aswell
-
Everything's gone a bit quiet, hopefully something is happening behind the scenes.

Would you change positons with Sunderland?

You're right, 2 points above it. Well that changes my view on your question completely now I have realised this, a 2 point advantage is MASSIVE. Would love to be in Sunderland's position right now -

Yeah I'd love to swap places with Sunderland. Would be great to be feeling nervous every week and checking the results of the other teams to see if we were out of the relegation zone. This season has admitedly died down a bit, fairplay to them going well in the cups. But seriously? You must be joking, being in the relegation zone is no fun whatsoever, regardless of a cup run. Go on Sunderland's forum and ask them the same question -
Got a feeling we might be in for a surprise tomorrow
-
Not overly excited by Vucinic, but a loan would suit us best to tie us over til the end of the season, then reassess things
-
Very strange. Maybe BT sport were impressed with us the other day. Surely City v Chelsea will be televised?
-
Am I worried? Not particularly. We have a good infrastructure and squad in place that a new manager could do well with. Do I think he will go? Difficult to say. He's been here a couple of weeks longer than some of us expected. Who knows? Maybe he's happy under the new regime. He certainly seems as committed as ever to the cause right now but we're still not entirely clear of what's going on behind the scenes
-
It would be nice if England had 3 quality players for every position, not just left back! Personally I think Luke will just miss out, his time will come soon enough though, can see Cole retiring after Brazil
-
I'd expect to see Lambert back, he's scored the last couple of times against Fulham, hopefully he'll be a bit fresher after having a couple of weeks out from competitive action. It will be interesting to see if Wanyama features, but it seems like Cork has been our best performer for the last couple of games.
-
Good point, sounded like a cracking game. Don't want to be too negative, but we've all been praising the last two performances and saying how well the team has played, isn't it about time to turn one of these performances into 3 points?
-
Looks like they're set to sign Mitroglou today, I've mentioned him several times on the transfer threads. Great bit of business by them.Hopefully he won't be ready for Saturday
-
What, a two and a half week rest?
-
People talk on here about Clyne going to the World Cup, he can't even get in our team! Must still have a slight injury, there's no way Chambers is the bettet option
-
Big night for Gallagher, hope he does well

We've not heard much from MP, does anyone think the Osvaldo decision might affect his own decision on whether or not to stay at the end of the season? After all, Osvaldo was clearly a player that he wanted despite being aware he had a bit of history with some similar incidents. Or maybe even he's realised Osvaldo is a complete nutter who is better off not being here

Poor draw, we've shown 3 times we're incapable of beating them -
They're going well, but probably due a bad result. We outplayed them here last year when they were on a good run, I'm going for a 2-1 victory
-
Guly to score the winner in the final?
-
They look like best mates. Maybe MP is desperate to keep him still? Also, I had no issues with what Boruc did and thought the reactions from many were extreme. But players who are involved in these sorts of incidents on the training ground never seem to recover from them and I wouldn't be surprised to see him shipped out by the end of the week, even if it's only a loan. Internet firing squad? It's an opinion
-
It really isn't too early. Now with what Super Kelv said yesterday, I would guess most of the squad want to get rid of them too. I don't think Osvaldo himself wants to be here either. He clearly has a big ego and we don't seem to have any in our squad (apart from Lallana since he started playing for England ;)We thought it was the best signing we have ever made, turns out it was the worst. That's life, sell him quick, draw a blue line under it and move on

Must be one of the most boring FA cup weekends ever, and now the strongest looking last 16 for a while. Charlton at home and then hope Chelsea draw Man City and Arsenal draw Liverpool. I genuinely believe we can make the semis/final this year, COYR! -
Not seen much of him, but it's a lot to ask of an 18 year old with very little top flight experience to step up to the plate for us, we really need to try and get rid of Osvaldo and bring in a replacement within the next few days
-
Good shout, we'll let you claim that as an exclusive
