  1. This is working for me: http://www.eplsite.uk/stream16.html
  2. It didn’t help that Grobbelaar was literally diving past or out of the way of every shot that came in. (Legal note: Just in my personal opinion of course)
  3. I’m still not convinced we were ever really his first choice
  4. #IStandWithMickyFialka Someone tweet it to Sir Rickie, let's get this trending
  5. I hope not. Saturday Superstore was shit, and Pop Quiz was worse.
  6. Everyone else: They're going to need to listen pretty damn hard to hear one for Theo.
  7. I remember watching him in an away match in Switzerland, at the Wankdorf. He spanked a couple in the first half, but then got pulled off.
  8. For me it’s a toss-up between Bobby Moore, George Best and Neil Shipperley.
  9. The new one looks like one of those ones you win at a fete
  10. Well it hasn't, has it? We haven't lost 4-0 to Villa again since we played them last week, he's a man of his word in that respect.
  11. Starting Smallbone as second striker when we've got five attackers on the bench is a lovely bit of Ralph at his maddest.
  12. Good block by Simple Jack
  13. Photo please or it didn’t happen
  14. Football Insider, quoting someone with a social media account who is basically just wondering out loud about deals Spurs could theoretically try and do https://www.footballinsider247.com/tottenham-transfer-news-two-spurs-stars-could-be-offered-in-part-exchange-for-livramento-insider/
  15. Yep - 100%. Is it just me or does he look far, far better at centre back then he ever has at full back? Excellent tonight.
  16. Great that the crowd was buzzing last night. If you’re going to do a Livramento song to that tune though, wouldn’t it make sense to start it with ‘Tino, Tino, Tino’ - his first name feels like something of a gift in that respect - and then follow it with something that rhymes? Can’t help thinking they haven’t thought this through
  17. I was at that game as a kid, in the family centre at the Dell. It wasn’t full so we went up to the top row because my mate wanted ‘the best view’. It was astonishingly cold up there - a properly clear, Baltic night, accentuated by being high up and uncovered. It’s the coldest I can ever remember being at a football match. Then Matty turned in the best hat trick you can imagine. Went absolutely mental and forgot the cold after that. 4-1 win, bag of chips on the way home. Magic.
  18. A version of OWTS seems to be forming part of the basic repertoire for a lot of clubs' fans now. Obviously Spurs have been doing it for a while, but I've heard 'Oh When The Reds' (the fast version) from Liverpool fans at several recent games, Wolves fans were singing 'Oh When the Wolves' at their game on Sunday, and I'm pretty sure I heard 'Oh When the Bees' watching a recent Brentford game. I know fans often nick songs from other teams and change the words to fit their own, but it still seems very odd to me when the particular song has been so specifically associated with one club, rather than just a general tune or chant. I can't imagine a scenario where any other fans would sing I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles, for example, or You'll Never Walk Alone. Yet everyone seems happy to nick and repurpose a song that has until fairly recently been very much ours, and explicitly has Saints in the title. It's odd. Has such a 'club-specific' chant ever been lifted wholesale by other fans before?
  19. If we can score early and start knocking the ball around we can win comfortably. 3-0. It’s Everton though, so we’ll probably dominate and then they’ll snatch a totally undeserved, 94th minute, wrongly-awarded penalty winner for a 0-1 travesty.
  20. ‘Papa was a rollin’ stone’ for a few minutes before that to build the tension while the last few minutes of all the local games played out and then the Bruce Hornsby piano riff would kick in to signify it was all over and we’d clung on for a point at Highfield Road. Great days
  21. Haha - fair play
