Here Here!! It really does appear like alot of people on here take little joy from football at all. I watched that 2nd half on my laptop in my kitchen....my partner honestly had thought we had won, coz after the final whistle I was beaming from ear to ear. We had just put the league leaders to task ffs!!!! The threat of relegation had just ran off into the distance and all I was left with was thoughts of how next season will pan out. Yep, on reflection I know its still going to be a struggle to stay up this season, but i have never felt as much hope after a loss in the whole of my Saints supporting life. The way we pressed, the way we hassled and hurried, we arent the first team to do this to MAn U, but we are the first to do that effectively. Bring on Wigan!!

Ive bit my lip whilst reading this thread, but this got me!! "Trying to **** our boys over" This isnt the Somme you prat, its a game of football, thats all it is! I love football and southampton fc, but i feel theres nowt wrong with clapping an excellent goal from the opposition. It shows a level of maturity i think. To be honest i find it more embarrassing when grown men sing **** songs about some of are more mediocre players, ie most of them!
