I don't think I got a chance to mention that I enjoyed seeing you interact with Turks on the boxing thread bletch. I particularity enjoyed your use of the word 'mate'. This was the first time that I had every heard Carson use such a term and it was most enjoyable. It reminded me of Peep Show when Mark tried to interact with the working class security men and stumbled between whether he should use 'mate', 'pal' or 'buddy' and ended up just using an amalgamation of all 3. I don't expect you have seen me using the word amalgamation before Betch. That is for you. Think of it as me repaying the favor.

True story - The other night I was coming home from a mate's house after the boxing. Was a bit pissed so took the bus. Bus timer said it was coming in 2mins then the next one in 30 mins so I legged it to the bus stop. Got there just in the nick of time with the bus approaching in the distance. I put my hand out to signal to the bus as is the done way but the bus driver just sped up. As it got closer, I noticed the bus driver had a mate standing next to him. Then as they drove past both him and his mate smiled and stuck their fingers up at me. It was so bad that it was funny. I couldn't help but laugh. If I were a bus driver driving ****ed people about on a sat night, this is exactly how I would like to behave. I couldn't even be angry with him as I walked home. Respect for the mad max night bus driver - he stops when he wants.

Saw Gravity yesterday in Imax, 3D spaceship simulator etc. Was ok. Not much of a story but like a flight simulator, was ok for an experience. Done space travel now, on to time travel.
