If I remeber correctly, should a team get promoted back to the prem any outstanding parachute payments due to them are divided between the rest of the teams in the CC. I would imagine that if any of said payments have been advanced these monies would be deducted from their PL payments.

But parachute is 16m for years 1 and 2; and they had 11m of the first one advanced last January. So if 17m of parachute was used to pay outstanding transfer fees + 11m advance = 28m before any of it was used on the most expensive squad (or is it first 11?) in the CC. This would mean they must have almost used up all 4 years worth by now. Surely it couldn't be that bad? (Although I really do hope it is!)

On Saturday's post match thread I said it was the beginning of a 5 game winning streak, which would end when we play Plymouth. Now that this match is on TV I feel even more strongly about that prediction. Or is it because England are plating Wales on the same day as we play Plymouth? Maybe they moved the time so that supporters could watch this match and then go to pub to watch the international? Anyone got any idea?

The first of a 5 match winning streak. We will then slip up away to Plymouth (as usual) before going on another 5 match winning streak (taking us up to Brighton). Yes, I've been on the vodka, but I honestly think it is do-able. I also think Bompey may well slip up against Exeter on Tuesday; making next Saturday's game even more interesting!
