  1. IIRC, Poopy were given an £11m advance of their parachute money LAST January. There was also mention, many months and pages back, that they had ALREADY used up half of NEXT YEARS parachute money. As DP has said, other parachute money will be paid direct to football creditors. I honestly don't think there is much left of it for Chinny to get his hands on; nor for Poopy to use to keep trading. Hence, probably why there are fears amongst the few of going into admin again before this season is over. I believe the parachute payments are: 1st year - 16m GONE 2nd year - 16m ALMOST GONE 3rd year - 8m 4th year - 8m I am pretty sure the 3rd and 4th year's payments will be used for football creditors. Don't look good for them does it? Question, for those more in the know, if they re-enter admin before the CVA money starts being paid, what happens to said monies owed? Are they just written off? or, do they have to be included into any subsequent CVA?
  2. Toilet Brush? Land Mine? Fake Sheik?
  3. I blame all the defence cuts! Last season it was DSC's who almost, and should have, went to the wall; this season it is Guzz. 2 football clubs who in years gone by would have a large amount of their punters made up by matelots away from home and wanting their live footy fix, or by those who had moved to the area from elsewhere. To be fair, I knew a lot of 'northerners' who would go and get their fix at The Dell, when it was still possible to pay on the gate. I spent a fair amount of my time in the navy based in Guzz (Plymouth to you civvies) and, yes, a lot of their fans are bellends; but I still wouldn't want to see the club liquidated. The other lot, however.........................
  4. Saturday is all but over and we're still 4th (with games in hand).
  5. Signed for 7M, scored 7 goals in 3 years. LOL 1m for each goal, without taking into account wages. Great bit of business there. Well done Storrie!
  6. Agree with the above. Plus.... Outplayed them in the first half. Best goal of the game was from Chappers. Both of theirs came from our mistakes. Very proud of the players and NA. Would have loved to see us beat United but not overly upset to be out of the cup. And if we had to go out this was the best way to do so. Looking forward to us getting 3 points on Tuesday.
  7. What a cracking goal from Chappers!!!! Didn't Nige say he was going to put money on him to score the first goal? I hope he did!!!!
  8. Nothing on OS yet. Probably be another 30 mins until there is. About to have my first vodka of very many!! Enjoy your evening too!!
  9. -7 getting down to a slightly chilly -21 here. Have a pleasant evening!
  10. I'll use this one. Thanks.
  11. I've used it before but it's coming up with an error today. Grrr!
  12. UK only. Thanks for trying though.
  13. Very good!!
  14. Which channel?
  15. He struggled up until the tie-break in the 2nd set, then ripped Ferrer a new one. Ferrer fought back well in the 4th, but Murray won that tie-break easily as well. I would like to him to win the final, but don't think he will. Djokovic looked very good against Federer.
  16. The ENTIRE team....... Steve Cotterill, whose side are without a win in seven and tumbling towards the drop zone......... "That was the poorest performance of the season at home," he moaned. "We didn't really warrant anything out of the game. We put Burnley under no pressure. "Why? I don't know the honest answer to that at the moment because I don't think we had any performers. "Credit to Burnley. They came here and did a job. They were the better team. I have no gripes with that. The only gripe I have is my team's performance."
  17. Don't know what you're referring to with the other 2 but, iirc, LB said Guly was never on loan as he had signed permanently when he joined us. We know that is not true.
  18. 'Application for dismissal of charges' sounds like it's Milan and Storrie applying to have the case dropped?
  19. 22. we need back-ups incase the new 11 get injured
  20. We'll win 3-1
  21. Lambert heads wide. Jennings giving us a lot of problems. My Saintsplayer working fine.
  22. It's working fine for me.
  23. Come on Saints give me a nice warm feel, it's damned cold and snowing here!!!

    Loan Market

But Guly WAS with an 'option to buy' as was Papa last season. Although never actually announced as such, most believe the same was true with Chaplow. Antonio is under 21. So all 4 loans would still have been legit with my proposed new guidelines. Oh, and make that Saints are now 1 of 4 FL clubs without a loanee; QPR have just had a loan bid for Routeledge accepted by Newcastle.
  25. Moses would be a great buy. I doubt he would come here from Wigan though. Played 11 times for them this season and scored 2 goals.
