I liked Townsend as a player for us and was dissapointed when we sold him for only 300K (to Norwich?) if I remember correctly, he then left Norwich about 2 years later for 1.2m (and later another move for more than 2m). Can't comment on his punditry as haven't seen him do any for a very long time. He was okay(ish) about 6 years back though.

Reading this thread I was thinking the same thing. If the OS had simply anounced the price as £15 for adults allt those (usual) people slating NC would be on here asking they aren't £10 and blaming him for the prices. They say they want to more of the goings on at the club end then when they are given this they drip about that too. This is why I don't bother reading a lot of the threads on here any more.
