Unsurprisingly, you failed to answer my question as to the sub(s) you would have made. Yep, B&HA did us a kipper, no arguements there. And I honestly believe they deserved their win. A bad day at the office for too many players. with any luck they have now learnt their lesson and will go on a run better than the one which has just finished. I am very dissapointed and frustrated. This match has further enhanced my belief that this season is about restructuring and that we will finish just above mid-table come the end of the season. P.S. I also think that we will move out of the relegation places, for the final time this season, at the Tranmere game!

Are you actually watching the game? Antonio was not actually creating anything for the last 10-15 mins before he was taken off. The defence had got the better of him. About the most he did was deliver long throws, and I (for one) remember how effective Delap's long throws were for us. It was exactly the substitution I would have made if I was in Pards position. What would you have done?????

What changes would you make? I've beent hinking about this for the past 15 mins, but not sure which would be most effective (or who is on the bench, to be honest). Assuming they are there; probably Waigo and Mellis (or possibly Mills) for Antonio and Morgan.

Exactly! Gobern was tried at LB for the reserves midweek (to latter end of the game) and did okay. Pardew likes Mills at LM, so probably hoped Gobern would be okay there tonight as well. Obviously he wasn't, so Pardew changed it IMMEDIATELY. The more I see and hear of Pardew the more I like him. Oh bugger, penalty to Rovers and 3-2.
