  1. Wow! Look at all the 'bully boys' name calling, being personal and abusive, I think that's five in the last hour, yet this is all fine on their forum! No need for the mods to take action on this I imagine!!!! A master class in mongboard hypocrisy. Well done chaps.
  2. More abuse and name calling, love it another one who can't control himself. Brilliant stuff this. Love your speaking for everyone too, 'most people'. LMAO.
  3. Are you joking? He got death threats?!!!! Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!! We really do have some proper mental fans.
  4. Why do people find it nessasary to criticise this article? It's fair enough and Hodgson makes a valid point that the players know what to expect and boredom is a poor excuse for poor performance. Some may recall boredom was one of the lines trotted out for our failure in a previous competition.
  5. Felt his treatment by some fans was shameful to be honest. Booing him when he came on, sarcastic applause when he was substituted, some games even heard groups of fans chanting for him to f*ck off. Was a good player for us in L1 and the championship and has others has said not pl standard but always put a shift in wherever asked and played in a number of positions, been dropped several times and never appeared to complain. Compare that to the way Puncheon treated the club and the way he was welcomed back by some fans and I really struggle to understands the mindset of some of our supporters. Good luck Guly not the greatest player to ever wear a saints shirt but a good guy who like others who have already gone did the job he was brought in to do very well and didn't deserve the treatment he got at times.
  6. Rest assured, you aren't on that list.
  7. This thread is going very well :-) Absolute comedy and highlights what a pathetic, whinging bunch of wet lettuce there are on here. Naturally Francis little meltdown was hilarious, followed closely by Clowns who will stop posting once their subscription runs out for starters, if it's that bad on here why not stop posting now?! Does a fiver really mean they much to you. The whinging about paying customers not having to handle 'trolls' was another good one. It's an Internet forum to talk about football and inane bol*ocks, believe it or not people what you post on here doesn't matter, no one cares and it doesn't make any difference to anything! Still the drivelling saps are out in force on this thread with their self importance and moral high ground. This thread has certainly confirmed why this is place us known as the mongboard.
  8. Just for the record can those saying this forum us full of skates confirm who they think are skates.
  9. It does make me laugh this place. Last night and This morning I was posting light hearted comments, not 'trolling' not winding anyone one up. Someone jumped in wanting to engage and within 4 posts was being called a bully boy, c*nt and lacking in self awareness. Yet I'm not screaming and crying about how terrible this forum is and demanding the mods take action banning people. Honestly, I do question the fragile mental state of some of the people that are on here.
  10. No doubt there will be quite a few who hero worship the CEO of the brewery and claim with his drive and ambition the pub is in it's best condition ever, the food is second to none, the selection of lagers, ales and wines a joy to behold and it's the greatest time ever to be a drinker in our pub. They'll probably sing his name whilst ordering a round and anyone who dares to mention that you now have to pay to use the pub car park, the prices have rocketed as well as the general shoddy treatment of bar managers, staff and distain they hold for customers has an agenda and is probably a regular at weatherspoons.
  11. Not forgetting the group who on hearing someone say something They don't like or agree with go running to the bar demand the bouncers take action.
  12. Yet another hard luck story from BTF. If something's gone wrong in someone's life you can be sure she knows them.
  13. Shin splints and fractured metatarsals seem to be a thing of the past. What's the new fashionable injury to have?
  14. Wouldn't there be a group of people staring Into their pints bemoaning the good drinkers who don't come here anymore and you can see why?
  15. What was he then if not just an employee? Perhaps let's put it in his terms instead, a department head. £2m makes him the highest paid chairman in the country presiding over a premier league club with commercials revenues no better than Watfords. People will argue that it was because of him we have four players in the England squad, yet I don't recall Adam Lallana or Rickie Lambert reminiscing about how Cortese spent hours on the training ground coaching them on how to find space, take free kicks and penalties and teach them our high pressing tactic which has won so many plaudits. The coaching staff are the reason why we've had four players in the England squad. People will argue the he took us from league one to the premier league, so perhaps on that basis we should make Lallana, Lambert, Schniderlin and Fonte the highest paid players in the country in their positions as without their creativity, goals, interceptions and defending we might well have not made it to the premier league. Will Les Reed be the highest paid director of football in the country as he too was instrumental in our rise up the leagues? I very much doubt it. Why did we sack Adkins, surely he should have been the highest paid manager in the country, Afterall, he took us from l1 to the premier league. Instead of being given a £10m a year contract he got the sack and airbrushed from history. The fact of the matter what Cortese was just an employee, one that on paper did a good job but a CEO is also responsible for generating income as well as spending money. despite paying himself champions league wages his performance in this area was very much midtable championship.
  16. The trouble with threads like this is it makes reminisce about the good old days when this forum was amazing and makes me miss the good posters that don't bother any more and you can see why.
  17. How do you know? You claim you've had me on ignore for ages. So you're either lying about having me on ignore or making this up. As a little FACT Ive only posted on 7 of the 40 threads currently on the first page of the main board, less than a quarter, so your 'drowning the forum' statement is a complete load of bullsh*t. Mor evidence of the mugs on here being hysterical tarts.
  18. The old spring well, skipton road, Harrogate. Last time I checked the didn't issue infraction points for saying something the bar staff didn't like.
  19. Very true steven. One of the comments that always makes me laugh is when posters demand the mods take action against certain people. Seriously, are people not grown up enough to ignore something they don't like or have enough conviction in their own view point to argue it out.
  20. Who are the trolls? It seems to me anyone that has an opinion different to the status quo to dares to question someone else's is immediately labelled a troll.
  21. Quite. It's all very strange how this is being spun. It's standard stuff for transfers to be paid over the duration of the contact, does no one remember the backslapping when Cortese was meant to have got Arsenal to pay the full fee for Chamberlain up front? The "debt" from transfers will be that the likes of Ramirez and Osvaldo wont be worth what we paid for them but this wont be anything like £27m.
