I warned about this when we were tracking him and everyone was getting excited. I watch a lot of Italian football and when I was visiting my friend in Bologna I went to see Bologna v Bari. Ramirez was awful, gave the ball away 32 times, didn't tackle and ducked out of 12 50/50s, missed an open goal and a penalty and got substituted after 50 minutes. He looked disinterested and didn't run around a lot so knew it wouldn't be long before the fans here said he was sh*t. Of course I was told I was trolling and being a WUM. WTFILN?

Lazy, lying scumbag journos.

My mate supplies all the booze to them and chose the wine menu for them. I shall be sure to give him your feedback!

I always rated Ennios, superb if you like Italian food.

By the way Brett, I hope you don't consider Casa Brazil to be 'top end'! Of course for the best curry in town then it has to be corriander Lounge.

Predictive text on my phone and i cant be arsed to change it. I see you've done your usual thing though and contributed nothing except moan about other posters. So well done for that.

Take diving for penalties out of youngs game and I'm not sure what else he brings to the table. I'm not on of the cleverly bandwagon jumpers, I think he's quite decent but you'd have to say Lallana certainly isnt any worse than what is in the squad based on his form this season.

Been to the one in Glasgow several times and its very good, pretty much echo what Krackers says. The glazed pork coated in Parmesan is superb. Don't go mad on the stews and potatoes at the salad bar and pace yourself and its money well spent.

Loved him as a player, was fantastic to watch and is a character that the game needs. However I wouldn't want him as a manager of my club it was a really strange decision to appoint him, then let him spend millions and sack him so early. Sunderland seem to me like a club that is on a self destruct mission, wouldn't be at all surprised to seem them relegated this season or next whoever is charge.

As it stands, do we have a better midfield than Utd?

When was this? He was fantastic last season. -
Yes I was surprised to see that. It was a bit backs to the wall for 10-15 minutes after the goal but the last 15 were comfortable, kept the ball well and played some good stuff. Thought we defended superbly yesterday, Liverpool ran out of ideas and of steam at the end and apart from the usual 'this is saints, we're bound to mess it up' worries, we never looked In any sort of trouble.

I did but it was a typical performance from him. He worked hard, closed down but on the ball yet again he just lacked that belief in himself to beat the man or take a shot, he's such a confidence player I worry he won't ever fulfil his potential because of it. Just lacks that self belief that all the top players have to back himself to do something. He can do it, as we saw last season when he was red hot for a while, he has all the attributes except maybe the vital one that separates to great from the good, that of tremendous self belief.

I think its hilarious that they were scrambling around on deadline day for a player they could have paid £4m less for in July. -
Is football now sterile one sided and boring?
Turkish replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Saints
She already has, I'm on ignore, didn't you know! Reading posts from you remind me of the thick kid in the class that as well as being stupid didn't really fit in with anyone, despite trying desperately hard to be popular. -

Seen that before great video, the Kop really was something else in those days, This is good too. -
There are some great comments on here about them http://www.independentftff.proboards.com/thread/4712/pompey-message-board

Well that's where he need to be brave and why he's paid a fortune to make decisions like that. The fans will only go into meltdown if it doesn't work, if we are winning and doing well then it'll be hailed as a great decision. It's been said a few time on here Lambert isn't ideally suited to our tactics really, if MP doesn't think so then he needs to be decisive and pick his team accordingly.
-
The gap In class has always been much greater.
-
we were 1-0 up when he went off and were playing very much on the counter attack. Liverpool were chasing the game and Davis energy was useful in breaking up their attacks and coming forward. The fact is that MP got everything spot on yesterday, including the substitutions, the right players were on the pitch at the right times with everyone doing their job.

Don't forget two of those came when we we're adapting to the premier league, the Sunderland defeat as when we has thrnueless clown who was out his depth in charge and the other two we could have won on another day idea we've profess but we were brilliant last season too, when we weren't adapting, had sacked Adkin, didn't have sh*t refs, took our chances Etc...
