  1. There you go again. Anyway, i dont want to engage in sensbile debate because clearly my idea of doing what Spurs & Arsenal have done is idiotic. Why wait and see if we have demand which means we need to expand when we can spend £40m now and hope to sell the tickets at a third of the price they are currently set at? i'm just amazed no one else has taken up this genius idea.
  2. Stop getting aroused.
  3. f*ck knows mate. Frank seems to think if he mentions Germany enough times on ones thread it'll change everyones mind. Then he claims that reducing ticket prices to a 1/3 of the current price isn't slashing prices and he's come up with no way of stopping existing match going fans hoovering up all the cheap ones. I'm just surprised no one has mentioned the easyjet pricing model that was so popular a few months back, you knwo the one. It costs you £10 to get into the ground, but another £15 if you want to have a seat where you can see the pitch, £8 for a p*ss and £7.24 for the premium half time refreshment queues. and dont even get me started on dynamic pricing. F*ck it, lets just build it and see what happens, we all know we need it, we've got more fans than Everton.
  4. Little tip on that. I'm not sure if you'll get this or not but, after my first grading and 3 hours of it the assessor then said "right, now everyone do 100 press ups and 200 sit ups". As you can imagine much to my dispair i wondered if i'd get more than a few out after 3 hours of it. However they dont expect you to do them all, it's that you dont give up and keep going and trying until they stay stop, ie that if you were fighting for your life you wouldn't just lay on the floor saying i'm too knackered and give in. I'm not sure if it's true but i was told they have failed people in the past because they've quit during that, so be warned! Good luck though, it's real buzz when you pass.
  5. and we have no demand at the moment. we dont have a waiting list. We dont even filll the stadium we have for a lot of games. When we do then we can expand otherwise talk about building 25,000 more seats and then slashing prices to sell them by hoping to attract new fans is utterly ridiculous.
  6. You need to get them along!
  7. my favourite is fighting off multiple attackers, 15 seconds on each, 6 people, destroyed by the end of it. Keep moving, keep fighting. FACT.
  8. An excellent tactic sir. So that one may walk in peace.
  9. It's easy to support a team when they are doing well, breaking trasfer records, wining most weeks or playing top teams and playing good football. It's not so easy when they crap and are losing every week to equally as crap teams and signing crap players. Some fans are only interested in one of those two scenarios, those are the plastics. It's not difficult really is it.
  10. and the reason existing fans aleady going wont snap these tickets up thus leaving their, more expensive, seats empty is?.........
  11. Real fans were the ones who went in L1 and during the period running to admin. Plastics are the ones who f*cked off in 2005 and are coming back now and might have turned out for the big games in between. HTH.
  12. probably because i live far enough from Manchester i can admire it from a far and not have to put up with the attention seeking self publicists trumpeting their own agendas and spouting their bullsh it every five minutes.
  13. What on earth are you talking about?
  14. I'm not sure whats so funny about that. It's only 10 Hot dogs between him and his boy all eaten within the space of two hours. It's perfectly normal to stuff your face with that much food in that much time!
  15. No. Still makes no sense.
  16. I believe Spurs have a waiting list of around 15,000 for season tickets as well as a tired membership scheme where you pay xxx amount simply for the right to be able buy tickets for gold, silver or bronze games. At least I think that's how it works. Either way their waiting list and membership scheme prove they need a bigger stadium, the fact we don't have one proves we don't.
  17. Because demands outstripped supply at Highbury. You know, putting it simply they filled their ground week in week out for years and they had compelling evidence they could fill a bigger stadium without spending millions and millions and millions and then reducing prices to a third of what they are now to sell them. Not difficult is it.
  18. Who is asking you to do that?
  19. i see the echo are now onto this and "the victim" has commented.... http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/crime/10203991.Saints_fan__punched_me_in_the_face__claims_woman/ gemnicholson says... 7:48pm Mon 4 Feb 13 I am absolutely shocked and appauled that anyone would even start to think that any of these accusations i have made could even be slighly made up. The matter of the fact is, none of you were there or witnessed this, I was there and I was the one who had the effects of this, as well as my daughter. This has got totally out of hand now, all I did was make a comment on twitter regarding being hit, which was a fact as I was hit. The next day I woke up to over 50 tweets from southampton and other fans apologising on behalf of Saints. Your right, at first I didnt report this, because I ran away and got my child safely in my car and then home and to bed, reporting this didnt cross my mind as I said on one status ' theyll be half way back to southampton by now theres no point'. I did not think that this would cause such publicisty, and definately did not think I would come across a picture of the person to blame - which i must add - I DID NOT TAKE. This picture was found on a fellow saints FC twitter page, and was a picture of the fans BEFORE the game. This matter is in the hands of the police now and CCTV has been reviewed, but there is no cameras on the actual bridge and therefore I 99% doubt anyone could even see the incedent on any of the cameras, especially as it happened whilst I was squished up against many other larger and taller people. Comment all you want, but at the end of the day all I care about is the fact myself and my daughter are ok now and that she is not put off returning to the stadium she has been attending with me since the age of one. so firstly the echo are now running stories based on unfounded accusations made on twitter and secondly she now claims no one could have seen her be punched as she was "squished up against many larger and taller people". So none of the people she was squished up against saw it or did anything and in the guy that was meant to have punched her managed to get to her despite her being squished in by all these people. How odd.
  20. and what was his reply?
  21. You'd think it wouldn't be so difficult to understand wouldn't you.
  22. I'm not really quite sure what you're banging on about now. Are we charging £12 or £25? Are we talking hypothetical or did you not read my post about how i think Saints and any sensible business would plan before spending tens of millions of pounds to make sure that wasn't money down the drain? I think you need to work out what you are on about and then come back with a comprehensible point, or if all else fails mention Germany again.
