  1. "that the same legal rights were granted to them as married couples." So it's exactly the same. No reason at all to think they are discriminated against.
  2. Answer the question. How are civil partnerships not equal to marriage? In whose eyes?
  3. maybe he's got a point.
  4. I think you'll find i've always championed equal rights and being proud of what you are.
  5. How are civil partnerships not equal to marriage? I did mean choice, i demand the chance to be able to have a civil partnership or a marriage.
  6. They do have equal rights. The government is hetrophobic as straight people want the choice between a marriage and a civil partnership. If one person feel discriminated against in our open and free society then that is one too many. I demand chance.
  7. She'd have loved it. I would automatically have been better at helping her chose shoes and handbags.
  8. This couple had a reason and I'm sure they aren't the only ones. Only allowing gay people civil partnerships is a disgrace and hetrophobic. I'd never have got married if I could have had a civil partnership instead and I demand equality.
  9. Not according to the the other report linked by The9. Who to believe?!!!
  10. ask this couple if it's a laughing matter. This is a serious point. Straight people should be allowed civil partnerships like gays can have marriages. It's about choices. Why should straight people be discriminated against? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-11625835
  11. Our average % full is even lower than tiny Evertons and one of the lowest in the league. MLG please report to the forum and tell us how this cant be true.
  12. gets what wrong? not sure what your on about fella.
  13. and you hate it so shouldnt you be telling him to avoid going into it as you'll only save yourself a whole world of pain in the future?
  14. When are they going to annouce civil partnerships can now be allowed for straight people?
  15. when are you marrying him Andy?
  16. If we sell out St Marys consistently (ie for more games than just the top 4-6 clubs) for a couple of season and have a proven demand for it then yes, it's totally an option. not 58k but maybe 48-40k.
  17. No you cant see it because i haven't said it and i dont think it. That's what happens when you dont read a whole thread.
  18. So why do people think Cortese would spend £20m for example adding on 6,000 seats to then sell them at £20 a ticket, when he could sell 32,000 at £35 a ticket?
  19. How long is our waiting list for season ticket? How many games have we sold out this season? What is our average crowd? Of course we could fill a 36,000 stadium for games against the Elite, but does selling out 5 or 6 games a season warrant a multimillion pound investment?
  20. why not do it now? Why wait until we've spent £40m on expanding the stadium to slash, err i mean, offer cheaper pricing?
  21. shut up Chesney, you stick to wrestling in your living room with your boyfriend in your dressing gowns.
  22. we struggle to sell the cheaper tickets for lots of games now colin, Frank is on about having 25,000 more of them. Brilliant idea isn't it.
  23. If they stuck by the team when they were doing badly then no. People support teams for all sorts of reason if it was because of the FA Cup final then great, real fans are there in bad times as well as good though. Where are the ones that went to the 2003 cup run when we had the begging bowl out and fans were urged to turn out for the Burnley game, every penny counted then, only about 22,000 Saints fans could be arsed to put their hand in their pocket then, when the club needed them and times were bad. It's easy to be a fan when times are good, the ones that come along now but didn't bother in the bad times are premier league consumers, not Saints fans. I dont understand why people are struggling to understand the concept.
  24. Tell us about your Easy jet pricing model Frank. I got that one. Remind us of it.......
