  1. The Internet really is a serious business.
  2. I'm glad Krackers is here to hold me back, I'd be well up for a ruck otherwise, hold me back Krackers, hold me back.
  3. The premier league is bad for these reasons Uncompetitive Full of happy clappy mong fans Greed and money oriented Full of arrogant c*nt players Over televised Full of mongs who go to games to see the other teams Over commercialised Extortionate ticket prices People without a clue about football try to talk to you about it Boring as f*ck hearing arm chair united/city/Liverpool fans talking about who they are going to sign run by *****s and sky who seem to think football began in 1992 Other than that its alright.
  4. sounding off about this! I have just got my new car, changed over the insurance no problem on mine, £20 admin fee, £35 additional premium. No problem However Mrs Turkish has quite a different scenario. SHe is inherting my car, her current car is 7 insurance groups higher than mine so assumed the difference in premium would be minimal, possibly even less. We wnt to change the car over on the insurance and was told her premium was trebling for the final 4 payments of the 6 months left. If she wasn't happy she had two options, to cancel and go elsewhere and they would charge her £250 + £55 admin fee, she is 6 months into a policy which only cost £400 for the year Or she could take out a new premium which was still double than she pays at the moment. Naturally we looked at other insurers and we found loads quoting a similar price to what she pays a the moment for her current vehicle, including believe it or not, her own current insurers!! When she rang them back and said about this they said this was a new offer that they didn't had access too and she couldn't have it without paying the cancellation fees on the old policy. I am rarely "outraged" but i have to say i am at this blatently rip off tactic. The insurer is the RAC by the way. Avoid them.
  5. Some people will do anything for free food FFS
  6. Everyone's hero Lallana. Only a month ago people were moaning his form had dipped.
  7. Ahh yes of course, consistency. How silly of me not to realise that the stick to beat most creative players with is not to be used in this instance as well. Remind me please of the wingers in the Premeir league who are consistent. The ones who are brilliant week in week out. The ones who 99/100 get the ball, beat the man deliver a peach of a cross onto the strikers head or boot for him to tuck it away. It shouldn't be too difficult, there must be dozens of them. Or are there? Or is it the fact that creative type players by the very nature are a little bit more up and down in form and constancy than your rock like centre half or ball winning midfielder. I mean, if there were a creative player who 99/100 did beat the man and deliver a peach of a cross onto the strikers head or boot then what would they be worth, £100m? £150m? More Prehaps? With a creative type of player a cross or a through ball an inch too high or long is a bad pass and Possesion lost, 2 or 3 times in a game and he would be the new Guly. Downing created 55 chances last season, none of which were taken, now unless you are silly enough to beleive he had 5 games where he was amazing and created them all in them and was crap for the rest just an inconsistent player would be , then that is a pretty respectable return for a player who is sh*te, always has been sh*te and you'd have to be on drugs to rate, is it not?
  8. The table doesn't lie Les. It also isn't a bias, pompous helmet.
  9. I've given you facts to back up my opinion that he's decent. Lets hear yours as to why in your opinion anyone that rates him is on drugs and he's sh*te and always has been.
  10. Well done for ignoring all the ther points which p*ss on your 'he's sh*t and always has been' argument.
  11. Here are a few little FACTs for you, you won't like them but they are true. Every England manager since And including Erkison has picked him at some point Lasr season Downing created 55 chances, more than any player in the Premier league, NONE of them were taken. Asssits are a two way thing, no? You need a striker to stick it in the onion bag yes? He had the best assist ratio to minutes played of the England Euro 2012 squad at international level. As player he is a 'proper' wide man, he'll stick to the touchline and not cut in like Lallana and Puncheon do, which will give us an extra dimension when attacking. Can we afford him? Would he come here? Who knows? Still what would we want with and England international who has created more chances for England and in the Premeir league than any other player? The mongboard has spoken.
  12. Shhh DPS you can't say things like that. He's sh*te and alway has been.
  13. Another century for Trott I see and England looking good for a series win. Massive achievement given our dodgy summer.
  14. Point being your comment that he's ****e and always has been is wrong. Yo obviously never saw him play for Middlesborough and Villa and you clearly cant rate Martin O'Neill as he obviously doesnt know what he's doing.
  15. O'Neill signed him for £10m, got him playing well in a team that finished 6th 3 years in a row form which persuaded Liverpool to pay £20m. Suggest to me O'Neill knows what he's talking about and he certainly isn't 'Was sh*te, is sh*te, always will be sh*te' I expect Martin O'Neill isn't on drugs either.
  16. Despite your incredibly bad user name, your comments are spot on.
  17. Do you not rate Martin O'Neill as a manager?
  18. Spot on as usual fella.
  19. A typical, articulate response from our forum guru.
  20. Apart from Ramirez and Davis it's been the same starting team for the last 5 games. Clearly Nige thinks its his best side barring injuries. So you don't think Puncheon, Schniderlin, Lambert and Lallana have made a significant impact this season?
  21. How any players outside of ours, right now, not in the future, are? And you still haven't answer who have been our most consistent performers this season.
  22. Good to see Murray in his usual position.
  23. Good to see Kate's got over her morning sickness.
  24. Or he could be the new Stuart Ripley.
  25. Naturally. Round of applause for them too.
