Behave yourself Roger. Beattie scored all his goals for us in the Premier league, Lambert has scored 4, all of his apart drom those have come at a lower level. When he's scored 15-20 a season for a couple of seasons in the Premier league then you might have a case. Lambert is still unproven at this level, Beattie was excellent for us at a time when we weren't scoring many goals. In his prime in Strachans side we were hard to beat and set up quite defensively, we didn't create load of chances yet he still scored over 20 goals in a couple of seasons.

Le Tissier: "Cortese is not a nice human being"
Turkish replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
A difficult man to do business with? Hang on a minute, we are told over and over again that NC is a great businessman. Unfortunately for NC in the leisure industry which he is now in, where you are trying to sell your product to match goers and also to local buinessness for sponsorship and corporate tickets i fail to see how being 'difficult to do business with'is a good thing like you appear to be making it out to be. In my own and I'm sure your experience wouldn't you rather give your business to a company that is easy to do business with? Where you pay a fair price for a good product? Being 'difficult to do business with' does not tie in with the 'great businessman' we are told constantly he is. -

Why? Everytime in the past Ive shared anything I get snidey comments and told that I am making it up or people didn't realise NC consulted me on matters. -

It's not an innuendo it's a fact. In two senior customer facing roles a number of people, some of which have very good experience, such as the guy that did the job at Man City, have come and gone. So either our HR department is getting it wrong And continually appointing people not good enough despite having good resumes or something else is making them leave. Meanwhile both the ticket office and corporate areas are a shambles. They are facts not innuendo. -

Well the evidence in front of you is that we've had a number of ticket office managers and commercial mangers/sponsorship managers who have all left, most have lasted little more than 6 months and both areas are a shambles. luker, who was already there and most agree doing a good job, has also left, so clearly it wasn't because he wasn't up to it. So either our HR department are employing a succession of duffs or there is another reason why they are leaving. -

ahh yes, you're right. He went to the ticket office to ask why and they said then that he wouldn't be being sold one. No reason given. I dont think he has been able to have one since either. -

I'm dont think they took his money and returned it. I think he went to the ticket office to buy one and they refused to sell him one. Under orders from Nick Nack, i understand, due to an article he wrote on the UI having a go at the club for removing the installment plan without notice that season they did. Fair point made IMO, but Nick Nack didn't like it. -

Who does this remind you off? Any other Saints staff or players that remind you of other things or people?

So they are all not up to it? Maybe our HR department is not up to it either if it keeps on recruiting duffers! Luker has gone and I think we all agree he was doing a very good job. -

Okay. Let's see this spazbaord and the CoCs spin on this Why do people think the ticket office is a shambles and the ticket office managers job has been a revolving door, since Luker left, who most agree was doing a good job, who by coincidence has also left Why do people think the corporate areas are a shambles with poor value for money and more empty boxes than full ones? Again the corporate sales manager job is a revolving door, this includes the ex corporate manager at Man City, who lasted 6 months. How many other clubs experience virtually no increase in corporate sales and empty areas on promotion to the premier league? Why were the echo banned? Why was Illingworth banned. Lifelong fan and long term season ticket holder who has been to more games than most of you lot put together Why were all media banned in a bizarre decision which only made us a figure of fun and had to quickly be backtracked on? Why is Adkins in fear of his job, at a time when we were celebrating successive promotions and being 2 years ahead of our planned return to the premier league? Why did it take so long to get building contractor to build staplewood and when we eventually do they walk of site 6 months after starting work? -
