I agree with the OP. this has to be a priority for the close season. The most important thing that needs to be done is to sort out the queues and the quality of the beer and food ao the gutty c*nts amoungst us dont have to queue to stuff food down their faces.

Why is it crap? To me it appears obvious and agree with JRM. They have done zero to encourage season ticket sales, last season it was as difficult as possible to buy one. Sales announced 31st of May with a month to renew, then everyone else had a month to buy one with no installment plan, which was removed without notice or miss the boat. for the average bloke on the street £450 or so is a lot of money to find in one go. No half season tickets, no pro rata arrangements, that doesn't sound like a business that was encouraging season ticket sales and i dont see it changing this year.

Of course they are not going to. It's quite obvious though isn't it, last season they made it as difficult as possible for people to buy a season ticket.

I seem to recall last season hearing we have a number of very good 16 year olds or so coming through, but none that were ready for the first team yet. It would be foolish to fail to sign quality players because of our amazing academy, we all know what happened the last time we did that. AOC is the classic example of how it should be done, bring them into a successful team which is winning with other experienced players around them.

and Zoltan Gera, him Scott Parker & Jamie O'hara in midfield would be awesome. With Anton Ferdinand (or did they mean Rio?) at the back and Owen up front with Lambert and Shay Given in goal we should expect to be able to win every game 10-0 next season. I'd also look at Carlton Cole with Robert Green as back up to Shay Given, they might be after a move if West Ham get relegated. David Bentley might be worth a look as well, clearly not wanted by Redknapp and not getting a game there, been farmed out to Birmingham on loan, surely he'd see us as a more attractive option.
