I wish she had, would have had even more respect for her.

Shame, many a good memory of that place bless her. Good laugh was Denise. one of the funniest memories of that place was when Malc Tuck (RIP) refused to put any money in the black girls tin, when she insisted he just looked at her and said 'No, you dont do anything for me'

OMG!!!!!!!! She didn;t look 60 did she :-(

Burbanks!! How could i forget that place?! Was **** but so easy to pull, bagged a fit nurse in there one night, spoke for about 10 minutes, spent the rest of the night on the table snogging each others faces off before being dragged back to her place

If you want to look like a fag/Littlewoods model then go for it. Love the little turn ups at the bottom, you could keep a couple of fags and your mobile tucked into them.

Funny that, I thought it was you, then remembered you'd be locked in the toilets with your wallet out staring at your pictures of Alex Reid

That is the other thing, big club comes into town with a large following, it is to clubs like Yeovil a bit of a cup final who are only used to 300 away supporters. their fans will be more up for it and we do have a bit of a name now due to our 'youth' these clubs hooligan element will also be more up for it. Given what happened v Yeovil at SMS, then the OB were probably anticipating a revenge attack of sorts.

What he said. Stevo, if you need to ask you know the answer.

That is right Stu, its because we have a large 'youth' element and also a lot of our support seem to be bunch of p*ss heads. Depsite all the loling at that lot barn dancing, having 'fun' and acting crazy at the train station in Yeovil, with people on here slapping themselves on the back about how funny it was an elderly woman on her own may well have felt intimidated by a large group of middle aged drunken men dancing and signing obviously p*ssed out of the skulls. In some quarters it might even be descirbed as anti social behaviour.

If the sentances were switched that would have been correct. Given Liverpools history, you'd have thought they'd be the first courts to clamp down and make examples of those invoved in this sort of going on.

Agree 100%, it seems that a lot of saints fans dont seem to get that though preaching from their happy clappy gospel of peace where every fan hugs in the street after games no matter what the result and swap scarves and haats. It does't make what happened right but as you say, that is the reality.

It is unfair and he is not that bad, he does a job he is asked and able to do, no he doesn't have the skills of Lallana or Puncheon but i think the critics he has are unfair, he is a model proffesional and a commited hard working player who is always consistant 6 out 10, which every team needs.

Ever since relegation from the PL, i thought i was the only one getting p1ssed off with that. -
a friend of mine used to play a game called 'testie heads' their sofa was by the door and if anyone nodded off on it they would be woken by a pair of testiles resting on their forehead, this was also filmed and also, very homosexual behaviour.

This one was true as well, Drogba before he went to Marseille, for £3m apparantly, malouda was also linked at the same time, also in Strachans autobiography as is the story he wanted to sign Saha and Malbranque from Fulham for £11m but Lowe said he didn't want to make our competitors financially stronger and us financially weaker so wouldn't do the deal. -

Apparantly that was true, in Strachans autobiography he was supposed to have been in Lowes office negitating the deal with his agent and Lowe pulled out because he didn't like his attitude, turns out he was right, still £25m transfer fee wouldn't have gone amiss... -
Because some people are incapable of going 90 minutes without stuffing their faces.

That was a good one, remember a debate on SF about would his wages upset the other players, some people getting really upset about it, i remember one poster saying "if Beattie is p*ssed off that OB is on that money then ask Beattie to get out his world cup winners medals" -

yeah that was a good un, based totally on the fact that Strachan was his manager at Coventry once! -
All these summer rumours made me think of great rumours on here from summers gone by. Particularly amusing ones were Javier De Pedro, some spanish guy that Javi, former poster and all round Spanish nutcase kept banging on we were signing. I also remember us being rumoured on the old saintsforever site to be close to signing Joe Cole, just before he joined Chelsea. Anyone remember the Gaizika Mendieta rumour? Barcelona player signed for £25m or something and we were rumoured on here to be signing for £10m after the cup final, pure internet fabrication but denied by the club in the echo at the time.:lol:

what about Kevin Phillips? has he signed yet?
