the most amazing holiday i have ever done was a week on Safari in Tanzania and then a week all in in Kenya, was £2k each for adults, not sure about the kids price. You can get a decent AI for two weeks in Kenya for no more than £800 each. Your kids will love it, the right age to appreciate that sort of thing. It honestly takes you breath away, the first night we had our dinner in over looking a watering hole while elephants washed themselves in it.
