  1. 0.1 **** and totally pointless article. or we could add 329730 Self righteous, judgemental posters on TSF 4477 Look at me, i am a great fan posters on TSF
  2. Good shout, or Fire. Heard Stone Roses, this is the one, at Old Trafford this season when Man U were playing, think it was City, sounded awesome. Starts slowly and builds up and starts to kick in about 1.45. Its all a load of ******** anyway, doesn't matter what music is played if its a big game the crowd will be up for it if its a game against the likes of Oldham then they will be less up for it. thats the problem with fans that dont understand terrace culture.
  3. MOre importantly Stu, why aren't you commenting on the vice president of the saints trust, you know that organisation that doesn't exist, being quoted in the echo. Thought you'd have sore finger tips in your haste & fury to get that on as thread before anyone else.
  4. I went to the Amafi coast last summer, absolutely stunning. Stayed just outside Sorrento and did a bus trip down the coast to Positano & Amalfi, breathtaking.
  5. Oh my god, i've just read it, they have codenamed it 'operation Mulse' how dramatic. They will be running a special operation (i wonder what they will call that one) at Southampton Airport to prevent thugs trying to make their way to South Africa, obviously everyone flying to South Africa will be doing it via Southampton Airport wont they. Southampton-Malaga-Madrid-South Africa, just to have a scrap with a few foreigners, f*ck me i didn't realise all football thugs were millionaries too. And if you are already banned make sure you hand your passort in or you'll be subject to....., wait for it, yet another special operation - to 'raid' your home. Three special operations for 109 people banned in Hampshire, thats pretty impressive and for the rest of us, you go easy, or you will be dealt with robustly, no doubt by another special operation.
  6. They did this during the last one, i cant remember exactly what happened but there was a few acts of vandalism in a small town like Crawley and about 5 people involved were given football banning orders as the offence was supposedly football related. This is utterly pointless and total nonsense as 1/ As JRM says, football banning orders were initally intended to stop 'hooligans' from travelling abroad for England games 2/ A football banning order only stops you going into the ground, or in some circumstances within a designated radius of it, it doesn't prevent you entering City Centres or pubs if the grounds are outside of this radius, if the incident happens in a pub when the game is over 5000 miles away surely a pub banning order is more apt? 3/ How do they know the person who commits the offence has been watching the game or it has anything to do with the game? If a bloke watches a match in a pub, or even just happens to be in a pub that happens to have a game on then has a fight an hour later because some other bloke pinched his birds arse (not that she should be there watching football anyway but thats another issue) does he still get a football banning order because he is in a pub and had been watching football even though the incident is totally unrelated. They are going well over the top with the football related thing now, its becoming ridiculous and an excuse to get headlines again.
  7. i think ok is a little generous, its didn't get off to the best of starts, tailed off a bit in the middle and the less said about the end the better, other than that, superb.
  8. Why is he a hero? Average League one defender who wasn't worth what he cost in wages and transfer fee, missed a one of his 3 season with injury and not first choice centre half even before Fonte was signed. Seems like a decent enough chap but hardly a hero.
  9. Just clap really, really quickly, mumbled something and shout Lallana at the end, everyone will be chomping at the bit to join in.

the echo said it was, it would seem not though, but 16 flights cancelled and warnings of disruption sunday... http://calamities.gaeatimes.com/2010/05/09/ash-closes-airports-in-spain-portugal-italy-straddles-trans-atlantic-routes-22212/
  11. The only superstition worth having is a pre match beer or three, makes even the worst games seem better.
  12. It doesn't really matter, it is all mumbled by the retards anyway, whilst they are clapping like a cripple trying to catch a ball, the only words anyone knows are na na na na na na na at 1,000,000 miles an hour.......

nothing whatsoever to do with Swiss airspace being closed on saturday then? Why have a simple explanation when a conspiracy theroy will do. Funny how he didn't stay away in protest for the Carlise game when Swiss airspace was open and we hadn't made the play offs.
  15. One thing is for sure, no one is sure. Lets have a poll.
  16. =D> A nail on head moment. Look at the Kop, Anfield, White Hart Lane, etc, you never see any women or clowns in face paints, its all proper lads who know what the crack is.
  17. ******** JRM, Aldershot are FA, we took Aldershot and Woking in the same day, c2003.
  18. The best two have gone up already we only lost one if 4 against them, the three coming down all look decidely average at best. If we keep all our players and add a coule more we should win the league regardless of which one of the others go up. If you are going to go on the basis of this season then you'd have to say Millwall finished third so therefore are the third best team, but we should have beaten them up there. Swindon beat us twice, Huddersfield walloped us up there and Charlton are probably the biggest of those 4 in the play offs so most attractive to new players. I dont really think it'll make a lot of difference as who goes up, we have the best squad in this league now, are the richest club, probably the best ground and best attendances & are the biggest club (with the exception of Sheffield Wednesday) if we dont go up with all that then, regardless of if Millwall, charlton, swindon or Huddersfield go up this season we only have ourselves to blame.
  19. Couldn't give a toss. Its not us so makes no odds who it is.
  20. Well this is the problem and probably why everyone seems to want to sing the songs at over 1,000 miles an hour without pausing for breath, no one knows the bloody words. How does 'oh when the saints go marching in' go again???
  21. The song is factually incorrect anyway, according to the player profles on the official site his is only 6ft 2. As usual a shocking lack of attention to detail.
  22. He jumps for the ball like a salmon Richie, Richie He's better than Didier Drogba Richie Richie He wears the shirt of Kevin keegan He dives around like David Seaman Richie Lampard, Saints goal machine.
  23. I assume you had just had a boot when you wrote that. He was ****e for us. We finished bottom and deservedly so. Games that stick in my mind apart from the obvious embarassment at Fratton Park are the 2-3 loss at home to Villa after being 2-0 up, 2-2 v 'Boro when we were 2-0 at 90 minutes. When you cant hold onto two goal leads you dont deserve to stay up. Although rumour has it he tried to sign Micheal Dawson and Andy Reid who were both at Forest at the time i think and got knocked back by Rupert, if we'd have got those two i think it would have sorted us out.
  24. OH i dont know mate, always worth the odd visit for nostalgic reasons. just like i do intented to return to Coronation Hall, Surbiton one day for a £3.50 burger, chips & pint meal.
  25. What sort of a plumb says WOWZER??:smt009
