Not like when i used to frequent the place, get to Waterloo for a pint as the Hole opened, onto the QA for 12, in there until 1.30, happy days.

Not content with being mugged off by most blokes its now happening with women...... In negotiations? Do you mean you're at the, hanging around the pub she drinks in staring at her from a distance hoping she doesn't catch you and knocking one out in the shower every morning, stage. Grow a pair and go and talk to her, either she wants you or she doesn't, which to be fair is the most likely, either way there are 3.5 billion others out there.
-
why didn't you say? In that case that is perfectly acceptable, place of great memories. And how are you going to redeem yourself with the woman coming to football with you? I take it you are trying to slot one in her?
-
If you were a proper fan you'd have got there two hours before kick off, waited around to cheer the team bus and got autographs, taken some pictures for you facebook album "Gills away" seen the whole game, waited around afterwards to cheer the players back onto the bus and then gone straight home and updated TSF with your "just back from the game thread" so everyone knows you went. Not ****ed off to the boozer after 30 mins. As for a woman joining you next season, what sort of a hypocryte are you? You are like the neo nazis in prision with Derek Vinyard in American history X, you dont really believe in ****.

None of them were getting in the side so weren't performing, Bale looked very average when he did. Whatever he did to Gomes worked as he is twice the keeper he was when he joined. And as for the money, well you've still got to spend it properly, just look at Liverpool, £200m and this is probably the worst Liverpool side since in 15 years.
-
Actually Stuart, the reason i haven't been getting a season ticket the last few years is because we aren't playing Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea etc ever week, i only go to watch the opponents. If i dont have a season ticket i dont feel oblidged to go to games like Orient where i have no interest in the opposition.

You pay in installements? You pikey.

I dont mind kids at football as long as they are boys and sit the family centre. the last thing i want, other than a geezer bird in a football shirt shouting "cam on saints" "cam on number 10" "cam on Richie Lampard score a goal" in her thick as pig ****, scummy, vile, scrumpy jack swilling accent with her hideous face and rotting teeth staring at me is a whinging, pampered, spoilt little brat of a girl sitting next to me muching her fat unhealthy chops through a hot dog and a coke and moaning that she wants to go to the toilet all the way though. That aside a lot of people (like me) haven't bothered with season tickets as there is no need. SO to encourage fans to part with thier cash up front, then i would also give a discount to fans on the database who have been to at least 10 games in the previous season.

Crouch wasn't even playing when he joined us so could only improve, i dont think he got the best out of Phillips at all, Prutton was banned for 10 games!! Camera was good one game then **** the next, Quashie was okay. overall i would only say Crouch was a success.
-
why would anyone go into the club shop and take a picture of it? Sad.
-
But he has got the best out of the players who were underperforming before he was there. Gomes looks a decent keeper now, Bale, Huddlestone, Pavelechenko (SP) were all stuggling before he was there, i think he is also a good man manager and gets the best out of his players too. never did it for us.

Do me a favour, you dont luckily finish fourth in the premier league above the likes of City, Liverpool and Villa. They have beaten Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City twice, you dont do that just by being lucky.
-
I miss him already, never even know anyone called Lancaster played for us.

Will never happen.

leg·end (ljnd) n. 1. a. An unverified story handed down from earlier times, especially one popularly believed to be historical. b. A body or collection of such stories. c. A romanticized or popularized myth of modern times. Note point C- if Stu romanticises he is a legend, then is his. Jog on the lot of you.

What commentator Derek Ferguson? He'd be a lot better at pre match entertainment than that other clown, or we could put him as Radio Solent commentator replacing Dave Saints need a second goal Merrington.
-
People class Benali and Marsden (why? he was only here three seasons) as legends, the title legend seems to be easily bestowed these days, wont be long before Stu and I are TSF legends.

Did i mention Svenson anywhere? I was reply to the previous poster about remembering the game, nothing to do with Svenson so pipe down, but just to be clear, I am fully aware when he got injured and just for the record, it was a calf injury in the warm up at Fratton Park (we lost 1-0 March 2004, yakubu scored the winner after about 70 minutes and Phillips hit a post in injury time) and then he injured his knee in training coming back from that injury. Also Crouch was "injured" or for some reason unavailable and pulled out just before kick off at Fratton Park for the 1-4 game and couldn't play so we had to go with Camara (who scored our goal, ran onto a through ball and put it into the bottom left corner as you face the Fratton end to make it 1-2) and Phillips up front. I also recall, like it was yesterday, Matt Taylor punching the net after their third goal and have hated him ever since. I dont think, or at least hope, we will ever see a more shameful, bottleless performance from a saints team ever again. Is that clear enough for you?

Did well at Bournemouth, got West Ham into Europe, got Pompey promoted and won the FA Cup (please dont go on about bankrupting Pompey, that wasn't his fault, he didn't run the clubs finances if a manager is given money to spend to improve the team they'll spend it) now got Spurs into the champions league. yet for us he was awful, the only place he has failed. And before you all jump on the band wagon a bout what a tosser he is, i seem to remember when Hoddle left a lot of people wanted Redknapp as manager then and were disapointed he didn't get it.
-
Come on JRM, they'd have turned them away, like they did to "turnups" famously all those years ago..
-
I remember that game well, seeing the players in the tunnel before kick off they looked like frightend rabbits. Niemi, Lundekvam etc I knew then we were going to lose badly that day and go down, that team had no bottle.
-
were you also the bloke that got done for assault for rubbing his foot against a womans leg in the jacuzzi at David Lloyd about 18 months ago :smt043 when i read that in the echo!

Lets hope he DOESN'T read these threads. God if i were him i'd be suicidal knowing there are so many narrow minded, judgemental, self righteous hypocrites in the world.

there is a WORST-THING-IN-THE-WORLD than that, when a bird still expects a line when she hasn't swallowed.

i think we should have a thread on every player availablethis summer.
