    Homework

Why blame the teachers? They are trying not only to educate your child in their subject but also in life. Homework teaches children important lessons in self motivation, organisation, time management and an ability to think for themselves when there are no teachers or brighter fellow students to ask or copy. You should thank them not question them.
  2. It'll give you someone else to report.
  3. here here. Pampered little brats dont need parents who are mates, they need discpline. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1335229/Generations-damaged-soft-parenting-says-poverty-tsar-wants-marriage-lessons-children.html?ito=feeds-newsxml Spot on.
  4. Remind them that christmas is a time to celebrate the life of Jesus Christ, a time of giving not taking and also now in multi cutural England, to embrace other cultures and beliefs. It's only commercialism which has turned christmas into a time of greed and excess. It is this time of year we should be thinking of others less fortunate than ourselves, not greedily demanding fatuous presents to add further layers to this countries debt mountain. Tell them their demands for Ugg boots are understandable given the me first society we live in, but surely if they really want to feel the true christmas spirit think not what about they can get, but what about they can give.
  5. i miss the fat c*nt. So easy to wind up, so stupid, such an easy target. SIgn here if you want him back. Someone to abuse and relentless mock without any fear of being infracted.
  6. The fackin snow has played havoc with my weekend plans. Tonight was supposed to be driving to Yorkshire, get there for about 9 and have a few beers in my FIO's local. Get the 10am train saturday morning to York to meet up with some other Hartlepool bound Saints on the 11.08 from York. Go to the game, few beers in York before heading back to Harrogate. Staying there as then going to customer meetings in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh monday and tuesday, which have now also all been cancelled. So rather than travelling the length on the Britian ovet the next 4 days, looks like it'll be staying in all weekend with DVD's and the ashes. What is everyone else up too?
  7. come from someone that started threads on favourite sandwiches, favourite cheese, favourite fish and who will score our next goal?
  8. i'd do Faye from Emmerdale.
  9. I didn't grass, although i will if it means i fit in with the forum superstars a bit more.
  10. Get yourself down SMS for some of that, it's all the rage for the modern teen apparantly.
  11. Well it must have been, because if things had stayed EXACTLY the same as under the old regime then no one would have any reason to leave and no one would have any opinion on Cortese. Directors aren't there to be popular and to be honest, in my experience, the ones that want and try to be are useless.
  12. The Russian bid probably showed them extracts Rocky 4 just before the votes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8xHjC27YvM
  13. Although not great at L1 level, I think Adkins would probably be a good international level interviewer, i think his postive style is better suited to that level.
  14. Indeed, he is a c*nt, just because he is. If he posted on here he'd win the most hated thread on the TMS easily.
  15. TDD is the biggest one of those.
  16. Thank f*ck for that! I knew i could count on you bessie mate
  17. Personally i'd rather finish midtable with a manager who gave a great interview.
  18. Well it's quite simple, things changed when NC took other, quite clearly. Either people liked the changes or they didn't. Those that did, did what was asked and possibly more, those that didn't had other choices, do it anyway, not do it and face the consequences or leave. Those that are no longer there are not there because they wouldn't or couldn't accept changes in the workplace, right or wrong?
  19. are you stupid Jamie? It's about winning games of football.
  20. Oh i know i am, in fact i am utterly dispondent that i dont seem to have a single mention for most hated poster. Perhaps that means i am not a big a one as i think, or indeed hope, that i am.
  21. When a new boss comes in at the top and shakes things up, new ideas, new ethos and demanding performance it usually brings two types of responses. Some rise to the challenge and perform better then even they thought possible and others are resentful, refuse to change and grow and end up either being fired or leaving. It happened at a company i worked for when a new Senior Director came in, a lot of people who had been cruising and underperforming but were part of the furniture and drawing big salaries were given a chance and if they didn't buck their ideas up were out of the door. Some did, some didn't, the ones that didn't went, the ones that did got well looked after. The new guy was hated for a while but the result was our division reported quarter on quarter growth for 9 quarters, some of that during the recession. Ultimately directors aren't there to be liked, they are there to get results and the best out of the staff.
  22. Who is the bigger c*nt? the c*nt that posts or the c*nt that takes notice of the c*nt?
  23. True, If Lambert was from the Ivory Coast, Drogba wouldn't get in their side.
  24. It's out of order that, the world should revolve around the premier league.
  25. Lets hope Harry Redknapp is not England manager in 2022 then!
