Agreed my overweight, hunch backed friend. If we are as rich as some people think then maybe we dont need the cash in the bank from season tickets and they are gambling on people still going but paying game by game. Fact is we will have decent crowds this season if the expected title push materialises reagrdless of the amount of season ticket holders. 30,000 people with 20,000 of them paying £25 is more ££ in the bank than 30,000 with 10,000 of them paying £25 a game. Less season ticket holders + same crowds = more profit over the course of the season.

I dont know what all the fuss is about with HUdderfield, we turned them over easily at SMS last season and they were poor in the play offs against Millwall. They are a decent team yes, but no better than SWindon, Charlton or the three that came down. I think Brighton will surprise a few this season and i think MK Dons will be better. However, we should win this league, it doesn't mean we will but we should, if we dont win it, or at least get promoted then its our own fault, everything is in place to succeed.

Without wishing to **** on anyones parade promotion from this league, for a club of saints stature is not something we should be slapping each other on the back about. We are where we are due to massive underachievement and mismangement, i enjoyed last season and am looking forward to this coming season but the CCC will be the real test, when we have to beat clubs of similar size to our own, not taking delight in beating the likes of Hartelpool and Yeovil.

Couldn't agree more, no place for pugs in this team. In fact our first XI is quite good looking at the moment, although i'd swap Lallana for Holmes, Harding for Wotton too maybe? Mills would get the nod ahead of Harding, is Dickson better looking than Harding? Calderon looks alright, for a spaniard, HCDUJFU if we were picking based on looks alone. To be fair to the ginger gene you are responsbile for one of the best gay singers in music history in Jimmy Summerville. Although other gingers in music like Mick hucknell and the Communards never picked up the baton of Jimmys ground breaking ability to combine homosexuality and gingerness into one, relatively socially acceptable bundle.
