I completely agree, I’ll also agree Wilcox is doing a fine job when he gets rid of the likes of Djenepo, Lyanco and TP. It’s easy to sell players that are in demand which top clubs want to buy.
-
Me neither, just pointing out this nonsense that we are hamstrung by a couple of crap signings. We’ve made huge amounts on players that cost us tiny amounts as well.
-
Exactly we’ve just made £130m from 4 sales of players who we bought for £15m. Insane profit. plus we sold Salisu for more than we paid for him. The nonsense that we can’t buy anyone because we’ve got a handful of players we’ve lost money on is laughable. Saints fans must have PTSD from the Goa sell to buy era DCC deal is meant to be loan to buy anyway for what we paid for him, Elyanoussi is 60k a week of the wage bill same with Walcott, good news. if Sully goes it looks like it’ll be at least for what we paid, same with Adams. Orsic was a small fee. Useless Paul is the only one we’re really losing big on.
-
and outgoing players will also be paid for in installments, we wont be signing a player for £10m and writing a cheque out for that tomorrow. We may have lost money on Onuachu but Liveramento, Tella, Ward-Prowse and Lavia cost us a combined £15m, we sold them for almost ten times that.

another top target missed out on.
-
I had similar info from my source who goes under the user name Simply Red (and white) he believes money is too tight to mention.
-
Yes also Ajax interested. His name won’t go away though. Let’s see what happens with this one
-
Or we need him to stay, what we don’t need is him to go and is scratching around to replace him, which looks likely
-
The deal was almost done with Everton but they couldn’t agree terms and Che also didn’t really want to go there for. Few reasons as to why. Anyway he has other options. Illl be surprised if he’s still Here end of next week
-
Let’s be honest. He’s been schooled at Barcelona and Man City so probably Is a very good footballer, but when he played for us last season looked like an under 16 playing in a mans game. He has a lot of work to do physically before he’s ready for the real world of mans football. He might go onto be a world class left back but from what we saw last season that’s a long long way away. Back up to Manning is possibly about right as things stand
-
He’s doing a great job. Feels like a great fit for us. I, like many, was skeptical about him but he’s a good guy, talks honestly and openly, made his mark on the team and strategy. He feels right for us something Nathan Jones never did. I am a big supporter of RM. He gets the Turkish stamp of approval
-
Honestly I think most of us forgot about Perrard anyway. 🤣
-
Manning, Larios then Meghoma is good depth at this level 👍
-
As revealed by the CoT when one of our members said that to lose Perrard would possibly be shame but for the player would be “Nice” say no more
-
Interesting the CoT threw him some half truths to see if he could be trusted ❌failed the test
-
The problem is none of our players have the luxury of playing against us to end their poor form
-
The worlds greatest right back with another cock up too. Been a good day so far
-
He’s truly a scouser now
-
1-0 down Van Dijk sent off 👏👏👏👏🤣🤣🤣
-
Duk isn’t who is the other one we’ve been linked with there he is actually I didn’t realise his real name is Luís Henriques de Barros Lopes 🤣🤣
-
James Mcatees name keeps coming up.
-
Lovely finish from the Blackburn striker there, Hoedt done by a great bit of skill. Only bit of quality in a poor game. Should be beating both these sides
-
Or new signing according to RM
-
Sam Gallagher just come on for Blackburn @Fitzhugh Fella have you just become a grandad? Congratulations if so
