What interesting about this thread is that at lot of people on here don’t seem to be know the difference between climate change and weather themselves, hence the emotive response to my very simple question a few days ago about the heat wave in Europe. Lots of graphs, shouting, name calling, accusations and making up things but it wasn’t for over a week that someone actually provided an answer (from google 🤣)

Yeah that’s fine, no one was disputing climate change, in fact I even agreed with some of the graphs that the trend is showing this. The question I asked was about if this heat wave was weather or not, Unfortunately rather than saying it was weather which they are now people started screaming about denying climate change, claiming I said the world can’t be warming up because a few people I know said it wasn’t that bad where they were on holiday and bizarre made up claims that I’d be sacked, which soggy laughed at, which is very weird as not only was it not true why would it be funny someone losing their job when we are in a cost of living crisis. as usual the forum good guys showed their true colours when it counted
