What is odd is that rather than being glad the government are dealing with the issue of child grooming gangs in the worst effected areas, it appears he’d rather let it happen than convict a few non white people. What a sick, twisted bitter individual. -

Give it a rest you boring cunt -
We’ve been down for months. That Jones period screwed us. sports republic and their employees have been a disaster so far. Got every major decision wrong. It couldn’t really have gone worse so far could it.
-
This is the worry. He does seem to think he’s the dogs bolllocks with very little to back it up. Others have already said they didn’t replace him at Brentford as he was the ideas guy taking the credit for others work whilst they reined him in. I think in him and Semmens we’ve got a couple of marketing dreamers all power points, data and white boards but no substance
-
We could offer him a project he couldn’t refuse, The same one we’re going to offer Potter 🤣🤣
-
Lol yeah, few beers last night 🤣🤣

Because Ankersen seems to rate himself as some sort of genius who does things differently and is obsessed with stats. All the talk when Jesus Jones was here was about stats, he even described himself as statistically one of the best managers in Europe. You can imagine the interview with Jones banging on about stats with a massive spreadsheet showing how great his teams are at turnovers, offensive receptions, penetrative runs into the red zones and all the other nonsense they spout these days. ankersen would have been sitting there with a boner. That’s why he appointed him.
-
But we are quite low in comparison to every premier league club.
-
Jesus wept. That’s crazy. Isn’t that about 5% of turnover?
-
Wtf?!! Is this a joke?
-
Game over by half time, we’ll be two or three down and won’t lay a glove on them. They’ll take their foot off the gas and keep us at arms length but the more dopey on here will be hugely encouraged by our second half performance.
-
Potter isn’t out of the box thinking. He’s the obvious appointment. You don’t get to do a Ted talk and be two time 4.5 star rated book writer on Amazon by doing what’s obvious.
-
Brighton didn’t score many either, maybe it’s him?
-
Rodgers Will get another premier league job, he still has a good reputation. Reckon he’ll end up at Palace and Potter at Leicester. Forest manager might be available soon as well, they are running out of patience with him. Might be alright for us the championship
-
Why are you going on about religion?
-
This had got Potter to Leicester written all over it. in any case I think I might alone in the hype here, his premier league finishes have been 17 (taking over from Houghron) 15, 16, 9. Plus only once had his Brighton team scored more than 40 goals. Not good enough for a fan base that wanted a manager sacked who finished 8th and scored 41. Potter is the wrong man for the I want to be entertained brigade.

But every single person that has posted on this subject has said you’re talking bollocks. When you think it’s everyone else it usually isn’t.
-
Something not right about it. 4 Man City academy players costing £40 odd million and the guy responsible clears off after 6 months. Very odd.
-
The two wolves ones as well. Losing 2-1 when playing a crap team with 10 men for an hour and being a goal up is unforgivable. Adams cocking up an open goal from a foot out in the away game sums the club up. If we’d even got draws in those 4 games wolves would be bottom and we’d be 15th.
-
Got to feel for him. Chauffeur driven, no doubt a full corporate meal and wine, but of hob nobbing with his peers at West Ham when he could have been home with his missus and kids ignoring him.
-
Yeah he’s just failed and we all know he loves a manager who has failed

https://graceblue.com/2020/06/18/inspirational-leaders-martin-semmens-chief-executive-southampton-football-club-leadership-through-these-extraordinary-times/ “Similarly, when Martin moved to Southampton, he was very much an outsider to the business of football. For many this inexperience would have made them nervous, but Martin believes it worked to his advantage. He thinks that not having followed the typical path into football lent him an upper hand because he didn’t have to behave in a certain way, in fear of not living up to expectations. Instead he was able to approach the business of running a football club with a fresh perspective, free from the constraints of assumed, entrenched ways of doing things.” he certainly has a fresh perspective. Of all the teams the club has the women’s team which generates the least revenue is the most important to him, the process is more important than league position and us customers should just be grateful for what we’ve got. inspirational leadership

To be fair if you make 10 signings you don’t expect 90% of them to be absolutely shit
