Exactly this. It’s more of a level playing field and a very competitive league. lots of clubs of our size in it. Plus the fact that 3/4s of the league has something to play for right up until the last few weeks. Usually the teams 12-14 still have a chance of making the play offs with a month to go, seen so many times a late run and you can sneak into 6th. plus it’d be nice for once to start a season with the objective being positive not just to survive. It’s pretty miserable starting every season knowing you’re going to be lucky to win 1/4 of your games and the main objective being not to get relegated.

We have a multitude of problems at home Horrendous Home form which must surely be up there with the worst in the country if not Europe over the last five years. Not many teams can have won fewer home games than us. This has led to a disillusioned fan base where those still bothering do so out of duty rather than enjoyment.
