Potter isn’t out of the box thinking. He’s the obvious appointment. You don’t get to do a Ted talk and be two time 4.5 star rated book writer on Amazon by doing what’s obvious.
-
Brighton didn’t score many either, maybe it’s him?
-
Rodgers Will get another premier league job, he still has a good reputation. Reckon he’ll end up at Palace and Potter at Leicester. Forest manager might be available soon as well, they are running out of patience with him. Might be alright for us the championship
-
Why are you going on about religion?
-
This had got Potter to Leicester written all over it. in any case I think I might alone in the hype here, his premier league finishes have been 17 (taking over from Houghron) 15, 16, 9. Plus only once had his Brighton team scored more than 40 goals. Not good enough for a fan base that wanted a manager sacked who finished 8th and scored 41. Potter is the wrong man for the I want to be entertained brigade.

But every single person that has posted on this subject has said you’re talking bollocks. When you think it’s everyone else it usually isn’t.

Something not right about it. 4 Man City academy players costing £40 odd million and the guy responsible clears off after 6 months. Very odd.
-
The two wolves ones as well. Losing 2-1 when playing a crap team with 10 men for an hour and being a goal up is unforgivable. Adams cocking up an open goal from a foot out in the away game sums the club up. If we’d even got draws in those 4 games wolves would be bottom and we’d be 15th.
-
Got to feel for him. Chauffeur driven, no doubt a full corporate meal and wine, but of hob nobbing with his peers at West Ham when he could have been home with his missus and kids ignoring him.
-
Yeah he’s just failed and we all know he loves a manager who has failed

https://graceblue.com/2020/06/18/inspirational-leaders-martin-semmens-chief-executive-southampton-football-club-leadership-through-these-extraordinary-times/ “Similarly, when Martin moved to Southampton, he was very much an outsider to the business of football. For many this inexperience would have made them nervous, but Martin believes it worked to his advantage. He thinks that not having followed the typical path into football lent him an upper hand because he didn’t have to behave in a certain way, in fear of not living up to expectations. Instead he was able to approach the business of running a football club with a fresh perspective, free from the constraints of assumed, entrenched ways of doing things.” he certainly has a fresh perspective. Of all the teams the club has the women’s team which generates the least revenue is the most important to him, the process is more important than league position and us customers should just be grateful for what we’ve got. inspirational leadership

To be fair if you make 10 signings you don’t expect 90% of them to be absolutely shit
-
And it’s meant to be a minimum of time, he blew before 3 minutes. We could have played for another 30000 minutes and not scored so irrelevant anyway
-
We’re bottom of the league but that’s a false position withthe fixtures we have left. If we’re 6 points adrift we’d still be bottom so it isn’t a false postion. you really don’t do yourself any favours do you 🤣🤣🤣
-
we will still be bottom of the league after those games so it isn’t a false postion 🤦♂️
-
Correct subs
-
We did alright until their goal. They were getting frustrated, then crap defending and here we go again. Alcarez should come on at half time and we’ve got nothing going forward at all absolutely toothless.
-
Must have he so consistently unbelievably shite
-
FFS Mara basic control
-
Such pathetic defending
-
West Ham fans starting to get on their backs already
-
Indeed done alright so far
-
Just watch him, he’s dominating that area around the centre circle when the ball isn’t there. World class without the ball that lad

11 years ago todays Jonno Quick stepped up and scored two goals to turn around a 2 goal deficit on our way to a 3-2 win v MK dons. That was the start of our unstoppable run to promotion. Who is going to be todays hero?
