Won’t be long until he’s adding to those England caps. Jones has turned him round

The turning point

I think I’ve worked it out back in the old days long ball game was referred to as percentage football, the quicker you get the ball into the area, the higher percentage there is of scoring or something like that no doubt during Jesus Jones interview he talked about percentage football a lot which would have been a match made in heaven for a stats genius like Rasmus.

If Rasmus can do a Ted talk so can i if rasmus can do a Ted talk so can I if rasmus can do a Ted talk, rasmus can do a Ted talk rasmus can do a Ted talk so can I

Why are we being linked with wingers and midfielders when Jones tactic 5-3-2 and lump it 70 yards? Surely we should be trying to get a 6ft 4 striker in as a priority.

We might know the same person as I heard exactly the same story. He would also refuse to wear a high viz and hard hat on site, saying I’m paying for this I will wear what I want. You’re right about him being what we’d want, ambition, plan, driven, had a bit of charisma about him. Unfortunately he was an absolute bellend who treated everyone like dirt. My favourite story about him was when he got himself banned from the coriander lounge, still make me laugh thinking about it 🤣🤣

all this stuff that markets itself as low fat for example is smashed full of additives to make it taste better. I personally think it’s criminal how the food companies are allowed to advertise their products as healthy when they are generally terrible for you. I have a friend who is doing Keto apparently in an attempt to lose weight. She met my wife for breakfast during the week and had a full English with no hash browns, 2 hot chocolates and a pint of full fat coke all okay no carbs apparently 🤣🤣

I do get that. Although you can still do it quite cheaply. Batch cooking stuff can work out quite cheap, you can batch cook a chilli and leave freeze the leftovers for a later on and get another two or three meals out of it, just adding rice on the day. Same with curries, lasagne, soups. You can knock all these things up for a less than a tenner and get 3 meals for family out of them, the trouble it people don’t want to cook anymore, it’s easier to shove a cheap pizza in the oven and sit down watching TV

Not because her snatch looked like the fella off of Eastenders?

Yeah I knew a bloke who worked on the project. He’s not really interested in football but told me quite a bit about what was going on. I also knew someone at the club in a fairly senior role so had a lot of inside info at the time. Our fans go on about how amazing he was because he told them what they wanted to hear. It’s a shame that the one time we have had a chairman that had a bit about him he was an narcissistic dwarf.

We all know when you’re struggling for form a game against saints is exactly what you want. Any striker that hasn’t scored for a bit is guaranteed a goal, any team guaranteed a win. We will lose, it will be awful, doubt we’ll score. Two or three nil loss

Ankersen is a genius, the bits are falling into place. He will prove you all wrong.

Good listen that and pretty damming. Interesting comments on Cortese, spending and the training ground. Confirms what I said at the time and everyone told me I was wrong, Cortese was just ambitious and ruthless 😇

It’s like football manager players trying to run real club.
-
Is he also from a Welsh mining town? Be careful of so, hardest bastards on the world that lot

Despite all the BS it’s a club with no plan You don’t sign a load of YHGTI kids from Man city schooled in total football and then give them a manager who is a poor man’s Dave Bassett, “get it long”. we seem to be a rudderless club obsessed by data rather than reality. Trying to be futurist but stuck in the past. maybe it’s too simplistic but for a club like us the best ever recipe has been a sprinkling of talented young players paired with a couple of solid pros added to that a few experienced players still with a bit to offer. Don’t try and reinvent the wheel just do what worked before

As I said I met him once. I’ve met loads of famous people over the years but there was a warmth to him that is rare. I met him in corporate at a champions league game a few years back when my then boss was VP at Chelsea. We stood at the bar over a glass of red and talked all sorts, I felt like I’d known him 20 years not like I was meeting a football legend for the first time. As we parted company he gave me a big hug and said how nice it was to talk. Genuinely had a tear in my eye when got the new today.

A suit jacket is a no. But a shirt with a blazer and chinos or smart trousers even smart jeans is okay. I’d also say a quality kitted long sleeve polo shirt or roll neck, has to be cashmere, with a blazer can look very cool and smart if youre lean but looks ridiculous if you’re fat or too Muscular.

The people that do it are generally wankers. Dry January is a bit pointless if they just go and get back on it in February. In my many years of self education and a non bias view the secret to health limit booze 2-3 drinks a week is okay, nothing at all is best. don’t buy any food that advertises itself as being a heath food, low fat, high protein etc, if you can’t kill it or grow it don’t eat it. Eat real foods, not too much, mainly plants. Walk a lot, do some sort of resistance training 3-4 times week. the absence of illness doesn’t mean the presence of health. maybe I should do a Ted talk and I’ll get invited to join the saints board. Could do better than the cunts there now
