I think Chris Wood would be a great singing. Sort of presence up front we’ve not had since Pelle left and although he’s not prolific knows where the goal is had a really good record at Leeds and Burnley. I’m not sure if it was a credible link or just a suggestion by someone, but his age, lack of resale value and wages make him an unlikely permanent signing but a 6 month loan deal would be a good option

How do you know it was forced? You seem to have a tremendous lack of empathy to human emotions. Which is interesting as this is similar behaviour patterns to a former poster.

It’s unlike you to be negative Fitz so now I’m really worried!

I think you’re forgetting how Pep said for twenty minutes we were the best team Man City had faced that season, before beating us 5-2 in March 2021. How I long for a return to those days.

Greg Wallace - such a cockwomble

Not just you soggy but it does happen to you regularly

Wouldn’t work as the rules say the taker has to be clearly identified before the kick is taken. Although the rules also say the ball cannot go backwards, so nothing to stop the taker kicking it sideways and a team mate running in a smashing it into the net..

It still Sam Allerdyces squad

Likes working with young players ✅ loves a good bit of virtue signalling ✅ wont ruffle the feathers of the board ✅ most other premier league clubs won’t be interested ✅ I can think of one current premier league club……

Why limit yourself to then?

If you’re happy they sit back whilst Rome burns then that’s up to you. Some of us aim higher

Forest have all ready signed someone Liverpool and Chelsea in for Bellingham ten Hag says United will sign a striker wolves to bring in two players from athletico Madrid Newcastle have public said they will be flexible in the market Even Ricky Martin, not the former pop idol contest, has outlined plans for Stoke yet what do we get? Silence and a few pictures of them enjoying themselves in Spain. I’m really starting to think Sports Republic want us to go down

Why would Arteta leave Arsenal to manage England? Managing your country isn’t the pinnacle of a managers career anymore. Most international managers are younger guys who aren’t that great or old managers past their best. You’re having a laugh if you think any top premier league manager would take the job. as for English players playing around Europe that’s because of the premier league, where the money and top players want to be. It’s nothing to do with the league they play in, a lot of the best players in the world play in the English league and the standard is higher than international football. We’ve got players playing in the Italian and German league but only one of them made the squad, there is a reason for that.

Get Pep or Klopp in, yes?

I’m sure a competition run by a corrupt organisation hosted in a corrupt country would run it with honesty and integrity 😇
-
Some strange decisions and incompetent refereeing in both the England v France game and Holland v Argentina, decisions favouring France and Argentina mainly. This would set up a final of of Mbappe v Messi who both play for PSG who by coincidence are owned by Qatar Sport Investments 🤔🤔🤔🤔

It’s always amusing when a poster who has had an account for years but rarely posted in that time then suddenly starts posting prolifically, usually being very argumentative, following around a few select posters.

As Christianity is now a minority in the UK his will was for Kane to miss that penalty. We’ve got MLG and his like to thank for our suffering

He isn’t a top coach, but not many at international level are. The best managers want to manage the top clubs in the top leagues. Southgate wouldn’t be anyones first choice but he’s not got much wrong as England manager and done better than anyone else ever has in tournaments. We were a 3 penalty kicks away from being European champions and two time World Cup semi finalists. The fact we ended the wrong side or that line isn’t down to him, the other side of it and he’d be the regarded as the best England manager of all time.
-
And he played it a completely different way. If I was being hyper critical I’d say he brought Grealish on too late and Striling for Saka was a strange one. But overall tactically we were excellent, kept Mbappe quiet, got stronger as the game went on and were the better team. We hit the post, Loris made a couple of good saves, missed a couple of good chances and a penalty. Plus we were playing against a ref who got an awful lot wrong against us. Anyone who criticises Southgate for his performance in tournaments really shouldn’t bother watching another one.

Only when he’s being a bellend, which is most of the time. I call out his bullshit, hypocrisy, self righteousness and piety. Plus he’s liar. I don’t like liars
-
What did he do wrong? Came out of the group unbeaten as highest scorers breezed past Senegal, better team against the world champions and probably best team in the tournament, kept Mbappe quiet. If Kane scored I’m certain we’d have won. I’d love to know what all these experts saying his useless would have done differently
